Amazing beautiful property right on the beach. The rooms and pool were amazing. Plus a full coffee bar!!!!!!!

The weather(uncontrollable) and wish they had a chair in room. Manager asked me what they could do to make our next stay even more enjoyable and we mentioned a chair and a small shelf in shower for soaps/shampoo etc and he mentioned that these are all things ordered and on the way. Apparently this hotel is a complete remodel and they are still waiting on a few items. Beautiful place.

Has a coffee shop and the coffee was amazing(had multiple). Food(had breakfast and lunch) was very good all around. Fresh juices(had to ask but staff was more than happy to make them). Staff was incredibly friendly and went over the top to make sure we were happy. It’s clear that they care about the guests. Highly recommend.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Amazing Stay at Hotel Lia – Marlon and His Team Are Rockstars! Our experience at Hotel Lia was absolutely five-star from start to finish. The pool? Perfection. Clean, beautiful, and the perfect spot to relax. Every single staff member — from the front desk to the waitresses to housekeeping — was kind, helpful, and made us feel like VIPs. A special shoutout to Marlon, the manager, who clearly runs a tight (and very friendly) ship. Anytime something wasn’t quite right, it was fixed immediately without hassle. That kind of service is rare and seriously appreciated. Only minor note: no hook for the bathroom towel. Not a big deal, just a small improvement that could make a great stay even better. Bottom line — Hotel Lia nailed it. We’ll definitely be back!

They can build a path or deck directly to the beach, that would be a cool addition.

Staff was very kind and hard working they went out of their way to make a special floral decoration when I told them it was our honeymoon. Everything is modern and very clean. I think they opened about 3 months ago. Food is really good. They have nice seating area in the front of the property that has a nice view of the beach as well as the pool that has cabanas for guests, you can have food and drinks at either. Located in the center of the city, very safe areas. We walked most places. They also have very diligent security that watches the parking lot at night.

This was by far one of the loveliest hotels i've ever stayed in! It was new - open for maybe only a few weeks. IT was located right on the beach. it was beautiful- with a minimalist aesthetic, excellent views. It was an adults only hotel/no pets hotel which made for an awesome, clean and QUIET visit. When I arrived, I believe we were probably the only ones there. We ordered drinks from the bar- the bartender was a creative professional, making each drink with care and presentation. We also ordered food-- absolutely delicious and presented impeccably. The staff was so friendly and attentive. The manager took us on a tour of the different types of rooms.... each one was absolutely beautiful! Each room has a unique tapestry that made up the "headboard". The hotel itself was breezy, laid back and super clean! There were no TVs in the rooms because, well- you're in Costa Rica on the beach-- why would you want to watch TV ? The pool was absolutely glorious, it had LED lighting at night which was so nice! The location was PERFECT! Just off the main road in Jaco Beach and tucked up right at the beachfront. People came from all over to catch the sunset from there because it was that lovely! It was walking distance to restaurants, bars and clubs. It was the best and i will definitely be back!

No towel racks in the rooms. If nothing else, this would encourage reusing towels and save water and labor. No TV (English channels) in each room.

Breakfast was delicious, though slightly overpriced. Service good. Free coffee refills (even if just one) would be a significant positive. The remodel is fantastic.
