There was no hot water for showering, unfortunately. The website is very open about the noise level of the trucks and cars that travel on the road nearby so that was expected.

The location was perfect for our needs. The rooms were very clean. The staff was excellent. The darkening curtains worked well.

Air conditioning and pool were great. The hosts made coffee when we asked. Bathroom was fine and the room had a large closet. Keyless lock was a bonus. The WiFi worked well. I enjoyed the colored lighting at night.

We knew that is was a cheap accommodation/motel and we booked it just for the night, as we took the ferry next morning. We were really surprised about how clean everything was and what we got for that little money. Room size, bathroom (water pressure, size) was great compared to other accommodation we had in costa rica (more expensive, not that clean, etc..)

No water in the bathroom sink or shower. The motel host left the property before I could tell him about the no water. Left early at 8am before staff arrived so could not tell them of no water. Shower towel was well used with holes in it. No secured parking, but rather just park in front of room.

It is a budget roadside motel 5 minutes from ferry, so a good badic pick if it's dark already and you don't want to drive at night.

It was very difficult to get the water in the shower to right temp, was either too hot or not hot enough. Eventually we found the sweet spot but that was frustrating a bit

The receptionist waited until we arrived from the 8:30 pm fairy. It was less then a 10 minutes ride from the fairy, which was great. The room was very clean

We had a nice, pleasant stay here. The room was spacious. It had A/C and the shower had hot water. When we sent a question to the owners, they were at the door 5 minutes later to help us. Good value and a good nights sleep. 🙏

Very close to ferry & evening bioluminescence tour. Very clean, ac was cold, good TV, fairly good wifi, a place to sit outside & eat. Local feeling as opposed to upscale touristy. Across from a small park & our room off the road a little bit. Very very basic as it states in description. Felt safe.

Receiving a message before arrival reminding guests to rate the hotel 'as described' is not useful. It is not possible to describe or show all the things travellers are looking for at the point of booking, and still other things - such as noise levels, bed comfort, cleanliness or room temperature - are highly subjective and based on a range of experience. In truth, this is a pretty good hotel for the price, with some of the things we really like to see. The things that were less to our satisfaction were the very low shower pressure; it was decent cold, but not hot. The shower gel holders could have more attention to detail with cleaning and it needs a shelf for toiletries. A separate bin in the room would be good. The furniture and ambience was a bit dated, but I am sure this will be improved over time.

The room was of a decent size and there was furniture to store suitcases on (though no suitcase racks). The room was mostly clean, apart from a few small stains and a bit of dust under beds. Beds were reasonably comfortable and the owners obviously take care to look after the mattresses using covers and protectors. Good and clean pillows. The towels were fresh and soft. The are sockets and USB by the bed. The air conditioning was really good: powerful and quiet enough to not wake us. The room felt secure. WiFi was decent. It is a short 15 minute walk to town and across the road from a bus stop to go to or from the ferry.

Good stay for one night, with great location for Bioluminescence. The apartment is big and clean.has a fridge to store breakfast. the water in the shower was very low pressure and cold. The ferry is a couple of minutes down the road. its low budget but comfortable. usb spots are useful. bed was comfy
