The view is gorgeous but the noise from the road was a little obtrusive. A small issue.

Beautiful relaxing vibe. Very family welcoming with games all over the place is a nice touch. Lovely spaces and fabulous pool. The second pool is also a great place to play wilder games with the kids. Staff couldn't be more helpful. Tina, Brian, Cathleen and Geoff couldn't have been more helpful. Breakfast is lovely, dinner expensive but good quality. In all a fabulous lace we would return to.

Pricey for the food and bar, breakfast was low quality (unexpected in such place), cocktail was very basic for 22$, they could have special quality lotions/shampoos in the shower/bathroom for the price.

The view, the pool, the style of the hotel, confy bed and the food taste (diner), we saw Aras and Capucins monkeys. We took the room with the parking/garden view to avoid noises from the road and it worked.

This hotel had a great swimming pool, restaurant food was delicious and included breakfast had several options. We got an upgrade in the room and it was spacious and comfy. There is a shared area with table games for you to enjoy and spend time. It's close to the beach for the ones that like places like this.

Beautiful hotel in a great location! Breakfast was delicious – you can choose from a menu, and everything is freshly prepared. In the evening, we ate at Two Parrots – very friendly service and a lovely view. A special thank you to Alfonso at the reception, who was extremely helpful.

Bathroom and shower only have one shampoo bottle for body wash and one conditioner one hand wash soap. No tissue boxes, no hand towels, no creams, no toiletries! Our towels were rags and we had to request new ones. Hotel food was amazing but the restaurant is low-key.

The only thing I would recommend improvement is in two dishes from the restaurant, first the beef carpaccio the meat cuts were not ok and the waffles portion should be 2 instead of 1, but evetything else was great.

We had two enjoyable nights at the Marsala. The pool is an infinity edge pool with a swim up bar, the rooms are comfortable and well configured for a group of three, and the reasonably-priced restaurant serves the best food we've had during our entire two week stay in Costa Rica.

we loved everything!

it's now our favorite hotel in Costa Rica! SO nice and clean. Staff is super helpful and smiley. The infinity pool is absolutely stunning!! There are Monkeys in the trees, parrots flying around.. its so beautifuland green and lush! AND THE FOOD :) Sooooo delicious!! Location is ideal, away from the bustle but a short drive to Jaco and Quepos. We 100 % recommend.

The noise insulation was non-existent, as we were woken early each morning by people outside our door or workers drilling. Our room seemed to share a public deck, and the lock on the door also seemed rather flimsy. The on-site restaurant was pricey, but luckily our breakfast was included. Location is a bit off the beaten path across a busy road, but ok with a car.

This is a beautiful, open, airy property set high up on a hill with a view of the ocean. The infinity pool and pool deck was very nice, which they let us use the day of check-out as well. Our King room w/ocean view was also large and nicely decorated, with a big closet and mini fridge as well. Our other room in the lower building was freshly painted, clean and comfortable.

The main road is literally 100 m from the pool so it tends to be noisy even late at night so resting can be difficult if you are staying in the main building. We always carry a cooler for our drinks and one of the pool bar staff members came to us and told us we couldn’t have that near the pool as other users “would not buy” from the pool bar and it would affect his job. We had to leave our cooler at the room and do multiple trips to refill throughout the day so that sucked but the rest of the staff was great to us so I guess it was just an isolated issue with 1 staff member. When I arrived at the hotel I was never informed of the check in or check out times so that was kinda confusing cause I was chilling by the pool when the bar lady told me check out was at 11 AM instead of 12 like any other hotel, so we had to run to get ready and leave the room on time.

The hotel is AMAZING! Starting with the staff, excellent service! The view is just breathtaking! The rooms are super modern with cafe Britt coffee cups and mini fridge with everything u need! Pool bar was fantastic and food was exquisite!

Fantastic boutique hotel with very friendly & helpful staff!! The pool is big and has a great ocean view. You can even sit in the pool and sip on your delicious welcome drink! We stayed here with my parents before their flight back. The hotel has a very convenient location, it’s only 2hrs from the airport and close to the main road. Both our rooms with beautiful ocean view were very clean and the beds super soft and comfortable. The suite on the top floor has is all… it’s very spacious with a big balcony and 180 degree ocean view!! I very much enjoyed relaxing in the whirlpool and watching the waves and macaws. Dinner and breakfast were also excellent. We’ll be back!!!
