We were given a choice of two rooms and I chose #1 due to proximity to the kitchen. Furnishings are older but functional. Nice to have a full stove for cooking. Bed was several stacked mattresses: comfortable, but it would shake if one person moved around. Room had an overhead fan but no cross ventilation unless you left the door open so it did get a bit warm. Excellent Wi-Fi. Private parking in the yard. Not many options in Sierpe and this worked for a night. Easy walk into the town or to the river edge.

Great hotel for our night before the ferry to drake bay. We arrived in the middle of the night and the staff were so friendly and accommodating allowing us to check in at that time. The room was simple but all we needed and great for the price - a good size and the bed was comfortable.

very warm room with fan, very lumpy pillow. Although the shower is set up to dispense warm water, it was cold water shower only. Not a big deal.

Good location, a short walk from the ferry boats. The room is a bit small, but you have access to comfortable shared seating areas and a kitchen space. Quiet. Friendly staff.

These are tiny rooms. No getting around it. The bedding is clean, but well used, and the pillows were a bit small and lumpy. But the value, ah, the value.

This is a great little hotel in downtown Sierpe only two blocks from the takeoff point for multiple tours. Free secure parking, fans in all rooms, A/C in some. Communal fridges and a kitchen for budget travellers.

Not as pictured. A duplex type building in the back of the property. The Kitchen area and bathroom had no AC.

The location was within walking distance to the port where we connected with our Tours. The staff was friendly and it was clean. It is next door to a school so we heard children during the day. The sleeping room was Air Conditioned so we slept pretty well. We used the kitchenette area for breakfasts and one meal, which was appreciated. There was a parking space for our car. Good value for the price.

What's not to like. This is a clean, comfortable budget accommodation with a shared kitchen and living room space. It's an ideal jumping off point for boats to Drake Bay or as a base for touring in the area. The owner was very nice and super informative.

If you need to stay in sierpe stay here! We did not research enough and could have not stayed and kept going as it is a very small town but if you do stay, stay here

I liked everything because I knew I just wanted to have a roof, bed and a shower. But of course the room gets a little bit hot in the night when you only have a fan.

The room was exactly what I paid for and what I expected. Nothing special but I had a place to spend a night before heading to the Drake Bay. The staff was super friendly and I felt very welcome. I can definitely recommend to stay here if you aren't looking for any five star luxury. This is a good place for those who want to rest before and/or after the Drake Bay and also for budget travellers who want to stay longer time in an affordable accommodation. There is a nice open space to spend time and a good kitchen as well!

Loved the hot water in the shower. GREAT system. Simple and does not waste hot water. My first hot water shower in CR Caught the bus to San José right at the hotel BIG plus for me.

The owner is warm and welcoming and pleasantly provided our every request. She answered all our annoying tourist questions with enthusiasm and visited with us as if we were friends. There’s a clean kitchen to use. Close to the boat dock. We enjoyed our one night stay.

Basic room but clean and with air conditioning. Very good location for the restaurants and the boat to Drake Bay or the Mangrove tour (arranged through hotel and highly recommended). Great value for money. Helpful staff.
