We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United StatesThe master bedroom bed was mostly comfortable but the mattress could use an upgrade. There's a pronounced squeak in the springs on one side. Not a big deal - we still slept well but that was the one thing about the condo that was quirky. We would recommend the place without hesitation even with that issue.
Condo was very well laid out. Good amount of furniture and amenities - not overly crowded. Walk to beach was relatively easy. There's a hill coming home but it's not too bad. Condo is far enough from main strip to be quite for sleeping but still have easy access. We didn't use our car at all after arriving.

CanadaThere were a lot of fast moving very tiny ants around, particularly in the bathroom. They were also lots around the pool. A couple of us got a ton of bites while in Tamarindo (and a couple didn’t) that we didn’t know the source of, but the ants were potential suspects. They may be harmless, but something should be done about them, especially in the apartment.
The property is well located in a quiet area, but only a short walk to the beach (although the hill is significant!). The view from the balcony is wonderful and the pool is very good. Parking is convenient. The beds were comfortable and the unit was generally clean. The property manager (Vacasa) has a useful app and responded well to questions.

CanadaA 10 minute walk from town with little kids (infant and toddler) was tricky but it boasts some amazing views. Check-in instructions were a bit confusing.
Amazing views. 3 balconies in one unit was awesome huge plus. Kitchen cam with everything you can think of and more. In suite washer dryer was so handy and worked great. Large washrooms. Big closets. Beautifully furnished - new and stylish. Loved it had beach blankets and umbrellas to bring to the beach.
