We would like to take this opportunity to clarify some key points regarding your stay. As our property is located in the heart of the rainforest, it is important to note that the presence of insects is part of the natural environment. While we implement thorough preventive measures to minimize their presence in rooms and common areas, the consumption of food and sweet beverages—such as wine—inside the rooms can inadvertently attract ants, as appeared to be the case during your stay. When your concerns were brought to our attention, our staff responded promptly, offering immediate and practical solutions. However, we noted that none of the alternatives were accepted, which unfortunately limited our ability to resolve the situation to your satisfaction. Additionally, we observed that there were some pending charges left unsettled at our points of sale. We also noticed the absence of two souvenir items after your departure. While we understand that oversights can happen, we trust this may have been an unfortunate misunderstanding. We recognize that not all experiences go as expected, and while we made every effort to address your concerns with priority and care, we feel the cooperation needed to find a mutual solution was not fully present. Despite the challenges, we are grateful you chose to visit us and hope that you were still able to enjoy some moments of the beautiful surroundings we are privileged to be part of. From the beginning, we offered a category upgrade to improve your stay, as you expressed dissatisfaction with the room you originally booked. Later, when you informed us of your desire to leave, we accommodated your request. However, upon explaining that the refund had to be processed through the website you used to make the reservation, you suddenly changed your mind and decided to stay, demanding additional discounts on other services. It is important to note that our staff remained attentive at all times, doing their utmost to assist you.
