The road to the hotel was terribly rocky and almost not navigable. The road should be graded. Also, the kitchen was not fully equipped. no cutting board. only one dull knife...

Randy was incredibly helpful, and saved us! Our car was not adequate to stay at the location we booked at, and Randy immediately organized for us to stay in their other location and helped us with relocating - even having our bags brought for us. The way to get to the complex is long and hard, not recommended for those willing to stay close to city. No dinner , only option is delivery (which is pretty expensive).

Great complex, clean , comfortable and had nice facilities. Road is terrible, required 4x4. Very far from city center. Perfect for those who seek for quite and relaxing experience in the jungle. Cesar welcome us , was amazing, took us for a night "tour" to see frogs and other animals.

You had to drive for Breakfast and it could start a bit earlier. The road to the rooms is in very very bad shape.

We choose breakfast to be delivered at the cabana. It has fruits, yogurt, coffee. The views of the Volcano was majestic. We would to return here again.

The place was PERFECT. It is definitely a little bit secluded so bring your groceries there, but the suites are worth it! This is the best view of the volcano you can get! Kinda sad we only stayed a night, but I recommend for anyone coming to Arenal/La Fotuna!

our coffee machine was a bit confusing. We could use clear instructions next to it. Took me several tries and I'm not sure I ever did it correctly. It's a bit away from the city center so most restaurants won't deliver to it, but the guy at the front desk was able to recommend some that did, in case you want to get dinner without leaving the property.

Location is incredible. You'll have to go down some very rocky unpaved roads for a few km/miles, but in our 4x4 it wasn't any problem as long as we moved slowly. Then you'll end up at a location that feels truly isolated, quiet, and calm. There's a great little walking trail that dips into the forests behind the rooms that is well maintained and short but full of variety. And you can see the volcano easily from the hot-tub! Very cool view, and the rooms are cute and clearly designed with the volcano in mind. The porch looks out over it, and we enjoyed our yogurt/granola/fruit breakfast from the porch while the fog drifted over the top of the volcano in the distance. Room is nice otherwise, very high ceilings, coffee machine with better than average coffee available.

Road was bad in places but fine with a 4x4. Shower temp was on and off.

Loved our stay. We booked last minute as wanted to leave another hotel. Because of timing it was slightly discounted and I think we had a brilliant price. The location is stunning and view of volcano would be brilliant - it was cloudy for us. The room was big, bed was comfy and everything clean. Sat out in the terrace and listened to frogs all evening. Lots of wildlife around to watch. Wifi was good. Breakfast was delivered to room and a really good selection.

We had a 4x4 car, but you definitely need at least an SUV to access the place.

Near Mistico Park, the view was insanely good! Jacuzzi in front of the window with volcano view! Very friendly staff! The breakfast was a bit small but it was in the restaurant inside the mistico park which overseas again the volcano and the natural reserve!

People have commented on the road leading to the cabins. It is indeed rough and I would not want to try to bring a car. However, we had an appropriate vehicle and thought it added to the charm of the place and gave us the feel of being out in the jungle away from others. It was about a 30 minute drive to La Fortuna on some really curvy narrow roads. Again, not a problem for us because we knew this and planned for it. You would not want to stay here without a vehicle. We would love for there to have been more screens on windows so that we could have left windows open at night instead of using the air conditioner.

The rooms have amazing views of Arenal volcano. The giant windows overlooking the volcano were certainly a highlight of the facilities. Everything seemed fairly new and clean. Behind the cabins was some amazing jungle with a short hiking trail. We didn't eat the breakfast so can't comment on that. The location is super close to Mistico Hanging Bridges so we made a point to the be the first ones at the park so that we could avoid the crowds.

Since the facility is in the rainforest, there is a lot of wildlife around the bungalow, and inevitably some insects got inside. Also, despite information saying the dry season goes from December-April, it rained nonstop and we had no view of the volcano at all over three days. If you want to have any chance of seeing Arenal volcano, you should go January-March

The facilities were very nice, clean, quiet and secluded. Excellent for someone who wants a quiet place off the beaten path. However, the road to get there is very rough, so an SUV and 4x4 is probably a must to reach this property.
