I don't generally leave reviews -- this place deserves it. I think it's the best hotel I've seen anywhere in Nosara. * right in the midst of all cafes and restaurants that are actually worth walking too -- if you look on google maps for cafe, you can see they are all around the hotel * right next to TWO vegan restaurants * yoga schedule was full despite being low season. that meant I even got the classes if it was just me. all the teachers are lovely. * The two guys running the hotel (Kevin & ?) are particularly lovely and made me feel at home from my arrival -- lots of help with transit, cafes, food, shopping, whatever. * super close to the beach -- quick walk with the surf board * the rooms had strong AC, excellent hot water, fridges with freezer, coffee machines (like a nespresso), comfy beds, and very strong wifi (10 MB/s) * other other yoga hotels are "fortresses" -- far away from everything, nothing around, high walls, everybody stays here. In Hotel Norte you can have it all without that feeling, and you have lots of options where to eat / what to do, etc.

The on site restaurants serves amazing Açaí bowls for breakfast and great cocktails for happy hour. The staff are super friendly and our daughter participated in some of the yoga events geared toward kids, which allowed my wife and I to really and enjoy a cocktail. The hotel is a great location and you can walk to restaurants and bars (plus an ATM machine) and the beach.

A beautiful little tropical haven. Lovely designed room with a very comfortable bed. Gorgeous and relaxing pool area. Great location, short walk to the beach. All staff were amazing - super friendly and welcoming.

I had an amazing stay at Norte Nosara. Already dreaming about visiting again. Kevin at the concierge provided exceptional help making me feel welcome before I even stepped foot onto the property. He answered so many questions, arranged a shuttle and activities for me and his friendly demeanor was on view each day. The yoga classes each day were all terrific (shout out to Esti, Lana and Chelsea). Ari and the surf program with Georges as instructor were amazing and got me right up on the surf board within my first lesson. Room itself was lovely and private as was the hotel setting and pool - a great place to relax during the day. Location was perfect - as close to the beach as you could ask. The Jungle Bar for smoothies, juices and cocktails at night was delicious and pool side. I had a wonderful time and will remember my stay at Norte Nosara fondly always. Thank you for an incredible visit! I never write reviews and selfishly want to keep this place a secret but the staff were all so incredible they deserve a positive review!

We had the smallest room and would definitely upgrade next time. We found it a bit tight for 2 people with bigger luggage. Not much space to unpack anything.

No free breakfast. Many other hotels or lodging in the area had similar prices but included a meal. This would guarantee our stay there in the future but we will likely look for somewhere with a meal included.

The one big downside (during the rainy season) is not having a covered communal space. The bar is covered but way too small for a group hang. Any time it started raining I was forced to retreat to my room and this is something that would make the hotel experience so much richer.

Really excellent location. Steps away from the most central part of town so walkability was the nicest part. Onsite yoga is also greatly appreciated, and the breakfast bowls are amaaaazing!

Hard to find something I didn't like. Only thing I can think is there are no coffee machines in the room for the coffee pods they provide you. Took me a minute to figure out how to access the coffee machine behind the bar by the pool but once I figured that out it was all good.

Loved the waterfall feature in the pool and how the bungalows are set up. Feels high end but also feels like you're in the jungle. Very relaxing and comforting. Super clean. I loved the Aromas bath products that they have in the shower and ended up purchasing in town. Beds are super comfortable and the room is set up so well. Breakfast that is included was so delicious and the staff is super warm and welcoming. Loved everything about this place. Filtered water provided on property so you can keep refilling your water bottle.

The fountain is a bit too loud by pool and enormous cockroaches that crawled under my door last night. Big as mice! But harmless.

The staff and bar tender and yoga was amazing! I could have done without the ginormous cock roaches that climbed under my door at night, but that’s not their fault that construction was literally everywhere within inches in Playa Guiones. I felt bad for them. It’s pushing the bugs from all around in. Staff was very accommodating ! Even gave me a discount, when I said it was not necessary.
