How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Verified reviewI would overall rate 7.5 for our overall stay (the booking doesn’t allow me put half point). The food is really good, my hubby and I both enjoyed them a lot, from the buffet to the a larte dinner to the snack bar, the food was tasty and warm and offer a good variety. I don’t really see why so many people in the reviews complained about the food being bad. The room we got, is bigger but still not a clear view of the bay/ water( after I requested to the reception when we arrived that I prefer a room with clear bay view, no overgrown shrubs) The beach area of this hotel is amazing, we watched two nights of amazing sunsets. Most of the staff are kind and nice. Overall we enjoyed our stay here
The property is not as big as we imagined it would be. Overall not enough areas for people to hang out, basically just two pool areas, the beach area, and the tiny reception area and that’s it. Big stairs( which we like) but people with mobility issue should be aware before staying here. The Buffett place should install air conditioning as it’s too hot and humid there.

Verified reviewThe pool was nice. Only order drinks off the drink menu. Don’t ask them to make anything else. Everything off the menu was well done but if you asked for a Paloma or a dirty martini it was disgusting. The buffet dinning room was so hot you would sweat during your entire meal. Eat at the poolside grill instead. Much cooler. If you want to eat at one of the restaurants make reservations in advance prior to your arrival.
The property is very spread out. The area around the rooms was quiet. Check-in was a disaster. We arrived at 8:30 in the morning after a red eye from Cali. You couldn’t use the facilities until 11 AM so we had to pay an additional fee for the extra one and a half hours. We requested an early check-in if the room was available. We were told we would receive a phone call as soon as the room was available. We checked back multiple times and rooms were still not available. Finally at 2 o’clock we still had not received a room so I went back up to the front lobby to find a huge line where guests were all being assigned rooms. I had to wait over an hour in line at which’s time I was again told no room was available, though all the people in front of me were given rooms. We finally received a room assignment at 4 pm.

There wasn’t much I didn’t like about property! I loved that it was relaxing, people were super friendly! Food wasn’t great! It was a Buffet and the restaurant was way too hot, no air conditioning! made for very uncomfortable conditions and a feeding ground for germs! We ate elsewhere on the property and had no issues like that! All and all it was a fantastic time!

Rooms are very poorly maintained. Bed sheets and towels are worn out and not white anymore. Room service were poor and some days they didn’t give us towels. Showers are not maintained. Although the hotel was all inclusive we didn’t risk to eat there.

The beach would have been nicer without the pollution from the jet ski that were there. We had to walk down the beach to avoid the oil and dirt they left on the water. The front desk employees were very rude. All other employees were super nice. Front desk employees should be replaced. Also we never had hot water in our 4 night stay? Just barely warm.

The food was low quality, and there was not enough variety day to day. The pools only had a few umbrellas, which were taken early in the morning. The bar pool was overly crowded. We waited an hour and a half to check in and then they did not notify us that the shuttle was ready to take us to our room until we ask the third time. Poorly run resort with low quality food.
