There should be a shuttle or golf cart to take us to the beach . The beach was far and down a steep hill .

Nice and relaxing experience. We felt lie we had the pool and pool bar all to ourselves. We walked to multiple beaches and multiple restaurants during our stay.

They don’t explain in the booking page that you have to pay more for pets, you got there and you have no other option and pay, they have to put that in the reservation information

No cleaning of the room was made in the two nights we were there, no change of towels, that were pretty wet all the time. However, one could get new pool towels anytime needed. The breakfast wasn't on top form, the yoghurt option was ridiculously small, like two spoons of it but a lot of dry granola, it was very confusing.

There are two buildings and the one we stayed in was a little outdated. But it looked like they were renovating that building so perhaps this is likely to change. Overall this was a great stay.

The staff in this hotel are exceptional and went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The staff were so flexible and helped us out with anything we needed. The room we stayed in was a little outdated but so clean and comfortable. The waterfall shower was a highlight after spending a long day at the beach. The location was great for us - it was a 9 min drive to the beach and close by to many restaurants up in the hills.

The room had some issues upon checkin (which the staff were very helpful in getting fixed for us) and the place is expensive for what it is, but I believe everything in this area is overpriced. There is also another hotel being built right in front of this one which hinders the view and thus causes noise issues as they start very early.

We liked the location, the friendly staff, the breakfast, the wide selection of English tv channels that allowed us to watch many Olympic events, and the ease of access to their partner hotel Shana by the beach (which has great pizza and a lot of opportunities to see monkeys). We especially loved Jorge and think he is the best staff member we could’ve ever asked for, he went above and beyond for us every single day!

They had a menu card for breakfast consisting of about 6 options from traditional to vegetarian ones. Tea, coffee and juice was offerred as well and a bowl of fruit to start with. Everything was really tasty and jsut enough to keep you going till lunch.

In our case during the stay there was no opportunitiy to have dinner in the hotel itself, only in the partner hotel (at least there was a shuttle). The food there was very good but also a bit more expensive.

The beach was very nice. The breakfast was very delicious. The pool with ocean view was absolutely stunning. We could visit wildlife with monkeys and macaws directly from the balcony. There was a golfcart-shuttle to the partner hotel.

Pool and surrounding area need some maintenance/cleaning, and noise from other rooms nearby gets into the room easily. Coffee from breakfast could be much better.

Place is clean, transportation from Blue to Shana was efficient and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good, you can see slots, and a lot of monkeys and iguanas. Staff is very friendly.

The hotel has a different name - it is Blue Mirador now! some maintenance details could be improved (it's not a new hotel) It is very easy to clog pipes in the bathroom

Hot water broke in our room and we had to ask a few times for a solution, but the hotel did offer us an alternate rooms/shower, which was appreciated

Beautiful view and loved the wild life around the property. Roy provided a great breakfast service and makes the best mojito I have ever had. Jorge was an absolute pleasure…he remembered us, was so fun, helped with everything from food to golf card rides to an issue in our room. Such valuable team members.

The hotel name is now the Blue Mirador, not Ocean Two Resort, which was very confusing when we were trying to find our hotel after a long drive. The facility seemed to be undergoing some renovations/updates and the restaurant was only available for breakfast - lunch/dinner served at the sister location next door (courtesy shuttle provided). Lastly, the pool bar was inconsistently staffed.

Overall, the hotel was clean, provided modern amenities, and the staff was great. Our room was large with a great ocean view and large garden area to enjoy the sunrise/sunset. The room was clean with modern TV/internet availability. Breakfast was included and was a great way to start the day before heading to the Manuel Antonio national park. Staff was very accommodating, allowing us to store our bags since we wouldn't be back from our tour before check out. In addition, they were happy to provide us a shuttle to/from the beach at their sister property.

There is building by work taking place across the road, lots of drilling. We decided to head to their sister hotel down the road to enjoy their pool instead, on the plus side, it’s a lot bigger and better for swimming

This hotel has got to have the best view in Manuel Antonio. It may well be one of my favourite views. We stayed in a standard room and that it was, it was pretty dated and they should worn you in advance about the stairs! On our first morning we had a little lay in and decided to go for breakfast at 8am, we were very disappointed. There was hardly any food left and the lady working there didn’t seem to want to help much. Our second morning we went earlier and all was okay. Majority of the staff were excellent. This really could be the best hotel in Manuel Anthony if they just tweaked a few things.
