Horrible lighting in bathroom and barely any water pressure. No safe in the room. The room would be 2 Star in the states.

Lobby and view are 10/10 for the price. Breakfast was good and included. There is a private beach you can access from the hotel!

It needs to be updated. However, it’s all relative given international travel. They do not have wash clothes or hair dryers. Again all relative.

The location was nice. There are several beaches near by to visit. Shell Beach was a favorite.

Excellent location, the hotel itself is older and out dated. Food was less than average. Pool didn’t look clean. Fun upbeat music and party like vibes allll day.

The rooms were not as clean as I wanted, needed updating, balcony furniture needed and air conditioner didn’t work well.

The property had amazing views of the ocean, landscape was very beautiful, close to everything, breakfast was good and the staff was amazing.

The name of the hotel was changed and nowhere to be found on the property, which led to missing it and the streets are very narrow, thus had to do a loop and finally after asking we found it. The spa couldn't be turned on by the available staff and it was a bit chilly; thus couldn't really enjoy the outdoors as much as I would've liked.

I liked the view, the proximity of the beach and the beds were comfortable.

The property is showing some age and is not in top-notch condition. The grass was dead, pool needed cleaning (which I did see happen the next day, by the way), railings were weathered, and room was pretty simple. The sliding door to the balcony was a little hard to operate. But I'm being critical so your expectations are appropriate. This is a 2-star room at a 3-star hotel in a 4-star location. If you go with modest expectations, I think you'll be very pleased.

We could not have been happier with this last-minute find. We were just looking for one night somewhere near a decent beach for a modest rate...and Dunama came up. We had pretty low expectations and were blown away by the gorgeous elevated 180 degree ocean view from the lobby. The indoor/outdoor lobby, bar, breakfast, pool area was great. Music was playing, and it was very festive. The deck, gazeebo, and private beach access were all very picturesque. And, the hot breakfast the next morning was fantastic! Eggs, sausage, fresh fruid, breads, juices, coffee...very nice. As well, the walk over to the beach at Playa Flamingo was short, as was the walk to the marina and shopping nearby. So much to like.

There is one umbrella for the pool, so more umbrellas would be nice. The rooms are very basic. It is my understanding they are being updated. No decor or photos in room. No USB outlets, only a few plugs not placed well. We had two queens, the night stand in middle had no plugs near it only on the far side of beds. Our friends had a queen pool view no night stand or dresser. We had deluxe ocean view so had one night stand a very small but adequate dresser. No safe, 5 hangers. We asked for soap refills never got them so went and bought a bar of soap. All that said the value was outstanding and we were never in the room. We booked last minute and this is what was available. Would love to go back in a couple years and see how they have improved the rooms.

Breakfast was good. It was the same thing every day, but good. The location of the dining area is beautiful. The view was fantastic. The people who work at the resort are outstanding. They made the stay. The pool area is nice, the bar and restaurant as well, not fancy but comfortable. The kudos of this hotel go to the staff. They remember names, drinks you like, room number...very friendly, You could walk into the town where there were a few nice restaurants. Flamingo Beachh nearby is one of the best beaches I have every been too.

Rooms are outdated, the terrace and the room itself are missing the chairs, hence couldn’t use the terrace at all (seems only the rooms with the pool view have the lounge chairs). Cleaning could have been better (dirty coffee mugs, dirty shower glass, etc.), there is a coffee machine in the room, however, you have to buy the coffee cups at the reception. Despite this, the bed is comfortable. If the rooms were refurbished, I would give this hotel a ten.

Most nights there was no warm water for the shower difficult transportation from the hotel- recommend having a vehicle I would also encourage the hotel to improve the breakfast…it was the same every day and not very interesting, so if you are there for the weekend it’s fine but after a few days, a bit bland. However there were eggs and fruit and good coffee.

The pool was not available because of renovations. He rooms didn't come with any amenities. However the cleaniness is top notch.

The restaurant and bar meals are fantastic. Thata the best part. We looked forward to our meals.

Worst hotel I have been to, stay away ,terrible breakfast, they charge you for extra coffe. Hotel is dirty and missing a lift , the staff don’t speak a word of foreign language. My room was dirty , so as the bed sheets and not even one seat in the room or balcony. STAT AWAY FROM THIS PLACE
