There were almost no pavements to walk to nearby restaurants. The area is not very walkable and I would recommend guests to have their own car for the best experience.

Had an amazing time at Plaza Yara. The staff was super friendly and the pool area and breakfast was above expectations. Would definatelly recommend and hope to stay there again.

There’s no restaurant on the property, and a poolside bar would be a great addition

From the terrace of our room, we enjoyed the sounds of birds and even spotted a toucan. Mauriel was incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, and the pool was clean and very relaxing.

Lovely boutique hotel, decorated with a lot of thought in common areas as well in the rooms. Two gorgeous pools, which are cleaned daily. Room are equipped with fridge, microwave and coffee maker and free coffee and popcorn. Everything is super clean. Delicious breakfast with different options to choose from. It’s obvious the hotel goes that extra for the guests. As a bonus one gets to enjoy the art gallery which serves as reception and two cute little bulldogs which love being petted. We liked it that much, we actually extended our stay by one night to relax and enjoy.

We had a big, comfortable and spotless room with a kitchen and nice garden view. Hotel offers great breakfast and has 2 clean swimming pools. One-minute walk to a bus stop is a big advantage for travelers without car. Two cute dogs in the reception/art gallery area always made us smile.

It was a bit far from restaurants and other food choices in the area, especially if you don't have a car.

Loved the friendly staff, the breakfast, and the room. The property has a pool and close to the bus stop for taking a bus to Manuel Antonio.

It is on a busy road but this also makes it convenient to access.

Gorgeous pool and beautiful rooms. Loved the lobby area and outdoor spaces. Though located on the side of a busy road, one felt immersed in nature. Very friendly staff!

A little far from town with no sidewalks. Uber is available.

Jungle side with a great pool and veranda. Staff super. Excellent restaurant with ocean views next door.

Spacious suites with a cozy sit out. Very cheerful and helpful staff. 10 15 minutes drive to Manuel Antonio national park. Several good restaurants within a 10 15 minute drive.

Nos gustó todo.

Plaza Yara Hotel was and is amazing. We loved everything here: the size of the room, the deco, the friendly staff, the location. In our stayed we managed to see howling monkeys, lapas and toucans in the hotel terrace. We also saw a sloth!! Everything was perfecto!

We had an amazing time here. The staff were so lovely & helpful and went above and beyond for us. The room we had was very large and spacious with massive floor to ceiling windows overlooking the trees and the wildlife. We were lucky to see monkeys and macaws from our room. Lovely pool and areas to relax. Kitchenette with microwave, coffee machine and fridge. Great breakfast and so comfortable. Lovely comfy big beds and great shower. We didn’t have a car but it was easy to get a taxi or Uber 5 mins to Manuel Antonio, the National Park, the beach or in the other direction to Quepos. Can’t recommend enough.

The hotel was gorgeous. Colourful mosaic floors and beautiful artwork. The staff were so friendly, kind and accommodating. Rooms were comfortable, well equipped with some lovely touches. Spotlessly clean. Breakfast was lovely - fruit plates and cake was a fab addition. Forest/jungle views from balcony. Lovely to sit on balcony in the morning listening to the wildlife. Such good value for money. Fantastic - highly recommend!

It was all good

The staff was great. Breakfast was really good. The staff provided assistance with information and very accommodating. Being able to see toucans and monkeys right from the property was a real treat.

The breakfast was fabulous. We loved the room. It was perfect for our family of 6. The staff was excellent and very helpful.

Location. Great looking into the jungle to see lots of wildlife. Big shout out to the host at breakfast. Fantastic!
