The hotel is old, no fridge in the room, not even small teapot. After the room cleaning it’s better not to stay in the room for an hour or so, they put too much chemicals. There are some animals living on the roof you can hear them during the day and night

The hotel is green with animals coming from time to tome and next to the beach. All the greens over the pool save in the mid of the day when it’s super hot. Any other breakfasts than continental are good and tasty. Hotel is quiet.

The room wasn’t clean; it was sticky everywhere. The WiFi didn’t work at all in our room, so we had to stay on the terrace to use it, and even then, it was really slow.

The view from the balcony was nice, the garden as well. We came late at night and they checked us in.

WiFi is not very good in the rooms have the go down to the kitchen or pool. Restaurant has weird hours it’s open/not and some foods run out

Beautiful hotel for value! Great location and felt very luxurious but also Costa Rica chic. Loved being here. The restaurant was perfect and very good food!

Poor WiFi, rooms doesn't have mini fridge which is kind of difficult to maintain fruits when you have a toddler and the curtains are too thin so it is quite bright early morning

Being beachfront makes it easy to go back and forth to the beach. The staff is very friendly and always trying to make you feel very comfortable. The pool is small but very nice, warm and clean. It has a restaurant and you can bring the food to your room

I wish there was a mini-fridge, otherwise perfect stay.

The food was fresh and delicious, breakfast was generous. Perfect location on the beach front. Lovely pool. Very thankful to be just outside of the very noisy Jaco center, lots of peace and quiet. Friendly and helpful staff.

Older building. Outlets would spark when you plugged something in. Up charge to put a mini fridge in room and to use the safe. Headboard was falling apart and dirt/wood chips would fall onto bed when you bumped it.

Location was perfect. Just off the main strip toward the end of Jaco beach. Fairly clean. Nothing fancy but the AC worked, nice pool, nice balcony. Right on the beach!

Wi-fi weak at pool, iffy on balcony, not usable in room. Ad said breakfast $8. They charge menu prices and it was $12. No blankets even when requested. Came for dinner and told reservations only. No pets in ad, but 4 dogs plus mgr's dog.

    Pool was nice and pretty.

Rooms and beds need updating. No WIFI available in the rooms.

Great location, just short walking distance to the beach. The onsite restaurant was good, serving typical Costa Rican dishes. Breakfast as not included with the room price, but was reasonably priced. Guests were Mostly Americans and some long term guests as well. Small pool, but it was clean. The grounds are tropical and well maintained. The only issue we had was mosquitoes in the room (hope that’s all it was). Otherwise a pleasant experience.

We left almost immediately as the facilities were not as advertised. They advertise AC but the ac unit didn’t really work and was more of a fan leaving the room sweltering. This is definitely a place for locals to visit.

Very bad value for the price we paid. The beds were very basic, linens and towels were extremely low quality and the bed had a plank of wood as a fake headboard on the wall, and we would constantly bump our heads. It was hard to sleep at night because the curtains were thin and bright street lights were blinding us. I’ll put a pic of how bright the room was at 1am. The hotel markets itself as a family run business, but the atmosphere was Very Unwelcoming. There’s no mini fridge, no fan, no floor mats. I asked for extra bed sheets for the kids and was politely told “sorry no the cupboard is locked” by a woman who’s clearly a manager. They have passive aggressive signs saying if you stain their (already stained) linens you’d get fined. The tv was mounted in the ceiling like in a hostel. There was a guest that freely smoked marijuana in their balcony which was annoying for families with kids. The pics of the pool online is exaggerated, it’s much smaller and it wasn’t always clean. The parking was a MESS, the security guard is useless he lets people park and block the driveway and it’s a huge fiasco trying to get out. Its located on the beach but right outside the gates were campers blocking the way with tents etc. Online the booking said breakfast was included but at check in they were charging an additional USD 12 per person. The room has a spacious patio but it desperately needs a floor mat to wipe your feet, the walk paths are made of gravel and we couldn’t wipe our feet on anything, so we’d unfortunately bring sand and pebbles into the room, I’ll include a pic so you see the gravel walkway. There’s no telephone in the room, and reception is closed after 6pm, so you’re on your own after dark. We had stayed at Crocs resort at our previous trip to Jaco, which is right next door. So this place needs to step up and offer the family run, welcoming atmosphere and a niche experience to compete with Crocs. As it is, it’s a hostel service charging resort rates.

The room was a good size. The shower was clean. Air conditioning works ok-ish. The Wi-Fi was not that great. The property has a lovely mature garden. Free (for all) parking.
