Very clean

A peaceful stay in nature’s embrace I had such a lovely time at Pyramid Lodge Tamarindo. The property is surrounded by beautiful nature, which made it feel incredibly peaceful and relaxing. My room was cozy, clean, and comfortable, and I felt settled in from the moment I arrived. Antony, the host, was warm and welcoming, always making sure I had what I needed. It truly felt like a home away from home. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet getaway close to nature.

A few years ago, this hotel was fantastic – a unique and charming concept.

Unfortunately, it has now fallen into serious decline. The bathrooms are dirty and clearly poorly maintained. The air conditioning units don’t work properly, and there’s not even a blanket on the bed, presumably to save on electricity costs. The sheets are worn out and the pillows are of poor quality. Paint is peeling off the walls, adding to the overall neglected appearance. The electric gate, which is truly necessary for safety, no longer works. This made me feel personally unsafe, especially with the car parked on the property. The shared kitchen was once a highlight, but is now run-down and no longer has any decent kitchenware available. It’s a real shame to see how this once lovely place has deteriorated.

Great pool, super nice staff, clean and very well designed room. Anthony, the host is very kind as well.

It’s a really nice property surrounded by nature and all the animals around, it’s a quiet place, private parking, the owner was very friendly, I highly recommend this place 🌟

Take note that the location is far from the tourist town of Tamarindo, but if you get a car it’s ok :)

This is the worst experience I've ever had in a hotel . Within one minute of paying the fee the owner text me calling my girlfriend a prostitute, telling us it's a non-drinking location when they're publicity says "bar on site" telling us we're bothering the other guest at the hotel. Keep in mind we've been at the property for 1 minute now! I spoke to the only other couple in the hotel, and they did not complain. The owner refused to speak on the phone only wanted to text never met us. An unbelievably horrible experience. I recommend full boycott of this property.

The owner is a scared little rat who wouldn't talk on the phone didn't meet us and had the gall to call my girlfriend of 5 years a prostitute. A worm of a man.

Nice set up with a pool and shared kitchen. Quiet area that was really peaceful. 20 min drive to tamarindo beach.

Remote, but beautiful. Road to the place is a bit challenging for a car but it is worth it.

Warm welcome from the owner, super friendly, speaks english/french/spanish and maybe more?! He showed us around and helped us around town. The pyramids are beautiful and cozy. 15min from the main street and beaches of Tamarindo, which are beautiful, so it's nice and quiet when you go to sleep.

Rooms size, the patio of the studio, the cleanliness of the common area, the atmosphere.

The road to get there (in both direction) is really bad
