Good location

Kitchen is extremely dirty, the fridge has not been cleaned ever.. it’s just disgusting. The kitchen equipments are seriously damaged and needs replacement. Only 2 burners for that amount of guests.

Brian, one of the owners is Amazing and so is his staff. He contacted me personally to let me know the way to the hostel from the airport. The dogs are friendly as can be and the staff is Amazing. The cook deserves 5 stars and could be a Michelin Chef. Her food is Amazing and everything that comes out of the kitchen is Amazing. Did I say Brian, one of the owners makes sure everything is perfect. The pool was Amazing! The cleanest pool in all of Jaco! The cleaning staff goes above and beyond to make sure everything is spotless!

Food not expensive, friendly bartenders.

Access to the beach, rooms, bathrooms, surf table rental, staff, was all great

Wi-fi signal was poor in my room, and also in third and fourth floor

The place was in a good location just at the beach and close to the farmers market. It was mostly quite clean, sleeping room was spacious and had AC.

The shower room was small, not that clean and with no space to put things. There was a co-working space, that was super hot though, when I asked them to enable the AC in the co-working, they told me they will but they never did. Also a warning, they make you were a bracelet from the hostel, so everyone knows where you staying which is not very safe.

It would have been nice for room service to check in a little more often but they did come sweep about half way threw the stay it just gets so sandy so fast lol

Premium location, almost downtown that make it a nice between calm and proximity of everything Rooftop was very nice to relax listenning to the waves and getting sun

No curtains for the beds If you’re in to party mode, good hostel People are kinda young. When you’re 35+ and looking for some likeminded people… I will not recommend this hostel.

Basic but perfect. We just stayed one night but it had everything we were looking for after a long day of travel.

Everything was great. Room was really clean. Stayed in 10 bed dorm. Ac was really nice. Plenty of space. Kitchen was excellent. Two fridges so plenty of room. Upstairs with hammocks was nice to relax. Macaws flew by every morning. Pushed just outside of town so quiet. Party spot but I don’t party and wasn’t to loud. Staff was super friendly and all the guests respectful. Just a great place.

Music was often and I enjoy the quiet but again not so loud it was disturbing.

I stayed at a private room with own bathroom for a week, the room was very clean, no bugs no stink no bad smell, they even had cleaning lady to clean the room every day as if I was staying at hotel. The staff and volunteers were amazing, I managed to book all my tour and activities through the hostel included pickup/ drop off, and had surfing lessons with excellent surfing coaches.

Food was great and the staff are amazing.

Bathrooms could use a/c.

Hosts and volunteers are really open to conversations and they give out great spot recomendations to nationals and tourists.

Not many nationals apart from my group and a couple others, its a great spot for anyone interested in a comfy and social rental. Great people overall.
