The lodge was beautiful and located very closely to everything in town and the beach!

My parents actually live nearby and they had a very full house due to a wedding so I decided to give myself some room and book the place down the street. The room was great, the pool was beautiful, I felt very safe as a solo female staying in the hotel.

The hotel was perfect. I loved the pool and the rooms are very comfortable. Excellent Staff and Room Services.

Super clean and well run lodge with easy walk to the beach and restaurants. Pool was refreshing and location was quiet. Excellent stay and will recommend highly to anyone.

Immaculate accommodation. The little touches go a long way, attention to detail in the accommodation was beautiful. The hosts are welcoming and full of knowledge on places to travel to, they recommended Carrillo Beach and Barrigona Beach, which were both beautiful and we loved, both have shade. They also lent us beach chairs and a cool box. Breakfast was also really good, continental was more than enough, fruit, juice, tea/coffee and bread with toast and jam. You can also choose more options. Definitely recommend.

Everything was perfect.

Even though we were only there for one night as they were booked solid, we got their business card to come back sometime. Very nice, close to everything. Quiet and exceptional. The continental breakfast was amazing but you can order as well. Definitely would stay again.

The pool was a wonderful bonus, providing a refreshing escape after a day in the sun. One of the highlights of the stay was the lovely dog on-site, who added a unique and welcoming touch. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, always ensuring that we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-located spot near the beach. I’ll definitely return!

A perfect little hotel to stay at and explore Sámara. Loved my room on the 1st floor overseeing the pool with lots of light and just enough space. I appreciated the little details: an umbrella, a fridge, a bottle of water, an umbrella, a safe drawer, and a beach towel. The beach and the town center are walkable distance. The owner Bridgette is super knowledgeable and has helped me a lot with my trip in Costa Rica. That alone makes this hotel a standout on my trip in Costa Rica.

It was the perfect place to start my trip off on the right note! The owners were welcoming, helpful and friendly and have created a very comfortable oasis. The room was small but perfect for one or a couple (Weather was great so i didn't spend much time inside!). Pool was lovely to dip in and cool.down, and created a pleasant spot to have a casual chat with other guests. Breakfast was good, and loved the fresh fruit plate. The location is an easy walk to town and the beach, and I enjoyed that it was across from some treed areas around the little stream...Howler monkeys were a treat to watch from the porch, along with many birds. I would happily recommend!

There is some street noise, but the rooms are set back a bit from road, and it quiets down nicely at a reasonable hour.

Lovely property on the edge of town. The owners are super friendly and welcoming. The property is done up very nicely. Very relaxing place to stay in Sámara. Would highly recommend staying here, and we would return here!

We loved the location, it was super easy to walk everywhere in Samara. The pool and the common area was so relaxing, we really enjoyed our down time there. The owners really make you feel like friends and are very accommodating. It was great to have amenities in the room like air conditioning and a fridge.

We found the room extremely basic. There were thoughtful touches but overall not the most comfortable. We expected this though and it's completely fine if you spend most of your time out of your room.

Samara Palm Lodge in Playa Samara, Costa Rica, is a charming small-scale hotel that offers a delightful stay for its guests. One of the highlights of the property is its lovely swimming pool, surrounded by a beautiful inner garden, which offers a peaceful retreat for relaxation. Additionally, I liked the convenience.

WIFI signal was not always very strong

Great place to stay, the owners were very friendly, everything was well cared for, the room was great, and the pool was a nice bonus. Breakfasts in the morning were affordable and delicious! We appreciated the candid and thoughtful advice of the owners. We'd happily stay there again.

There wasn't anything to complain about! The Samara Palm Lodge was beautiful, easy to check-in, and had a great pool. Breakfast in the morning was an additional fee, and worth it - we got it daily.
