Staff very helpful. Great location, free and secure parking. Swimming pool was clean and inviting. Breakfast was exceptionally good. Access to sister hotels thermal pools was brilliant! Would recommend!

Furnitures are a little tired looking but they are in good working condition.

Very good value for money with access to thermal pool at Volcano Lodge that has two large pools, a jacuzzi and a sauna pod. Though four of us shared in a room, the room is spacious with space for four luggages. Ample car park. Lovely breakfast buffet. Lovely pool where our kids stayed in there for hours. Good location right smack in the city where you are close to many lovely restaurants. Make sure you got to Travesia Restaurant for dinner which is 4 mins walk from San Bosco Inn.

The location of this property was in the heart of La Fortuna. We walked to dinner each night. The breakfast was very good in the morning. We loved that we could go to the sister hotel for the hot springs. It was a beautiful location.

Room was quite small and would have benefited from a fridge. We made good use of the ice bucket and ice machine instead!

Location in town was excellent and staff were really helpful and attentive. Breakfast was plentiful and the pool was amazing. We really loved the complimentary use of the sister hotel's thermal pools (Volcano Lodge) and enjoyed the amazing restaurant there too - food was really good.

Wonderful location in La Fortuna. Super friendly staff. Fantastic value. And the breakfast is tremendous, with the sweetest pineapple and tasty local fare. There were hummingbirds right outside our room every morning - such a delight.

The location is ok, the staff is very friendly and you can use for free another spa pool (that is located in another hotel) for free. The spa/swimming pools are very nice. The breakfast is excellent

Hotel is located in La Fortuna so makes walking around town and finding a restaurant easy. Volcano view from hotel. Nice sized rooms that are comfortable with hot water, AC, and TV. Delicious free buffet breakfast (pinto, eggs, sausage, veggie, fruits, cheese, toast, pancakes, juices, coffee/tea)plus pancakes). Free parking and WiFi. Free one day (12-9 pm) Access to sister Volcano Lodge to swim in hot springs and pool with Volcano view. Approximately 15 minute drive. We stay here every year.

The room was a bit small.

The location of San Bosco was central and very easy to find. They had water and ice available all day and the tea and coffee as well. There were porch seats in front of each room and a hammock in the property as well. A delicious breakfast buffet was served in the mornings and the free entrance to the Thermal Hot Springs was clutch!

Only negative was that bedsheets in one of the beds was dirty upon arrival but was quickly replaced.

You will definitely get your moneys worth here. Facilities are simple but everything is in good shape and functional. The access to the volcano lodge hot springs was a great add on (hot pools, showers, lockers..). Staff was great, (guards, front desk, breakfast peeps..!!) Everyone was very helpful and kind. breakfast is a buffet with a wide variety which is greatly appreciated although quantity seems to be a priority over quality (but for the price honestly can’t complain). Location is good in downtown fortuna and plenty of parking inside of property.

I liked the friendly welcome from the reception staff, the room was clean and cozy, the breakfast was good and the option to enjoy the hot springs to relax was great! It's an excellent price compared to hotels in the area based on what it offers and the service. I would gladly recommend it and return.

No small fridge in room so you can't keep supplies cold (we used ice and the pail from the room). Nowhere to fill water bottles, but the staff was helpful and filled it for me in the evening.

Excellent location. Walkable to restaurants. Great parking. very secure. Water pressure and temperature in shower was fabulous. Well made breakfast and delicious coffee. Staff were very helpful and friendly and very professional. Pass to the Volcano Lodge is amazing. Perfect hotel to use as a base while you explore Arenal and La Fortuna.
