Great location. We had an apartment which offered lots of space. They offered a free guided tour to Manuel Antonio park

The hotel is not walking distance from the beach but near many restaurants.

    The staff was really nice.

THERE IS NO PARKING. The parking is in front of the hotel basically on the street. First come first serve, so if you come and there is no parking then you are left to drive around until hopefully someone leaves. And when you contact the owners no one responds. There is no receptionist so you have to TRY to contact the owner to come let you in.

This place is a great value for money - comfy, cosy, with a stunning garden and a pretty ocean view. The location is excellent, next to the bus stop, close to two local beaches, a few minutes' walk away from the supermarket and a good choice of restaurants and cafes. I have stayed there twice, and I know Manuel Antonio quite well. If you're looking for a convenient place with peaceful surroundings at a fair price, that's the place to go. The owners are very welcoming and responsive, and the staff is lovely.

Not a concern for me, but mind you, there's no pool. For longer stays, the breakfast can get tedious as it's only one option of gallo pinto, but for 2-3 days, that's a great extra to have.

Everything was excellent! I had a last-minute discount but was surprised at the charm and quality of the place. Right on the main road with a 25 min walk to the beach, all in jungle setting. The room was spacious with everything you needed, and I even had a terrace with a hamac. The included breakfast was excellent.

This was only a quick stop coming back from Drake, instead of going all the way the San Jose. I arrived around 11.30 am and left at 6am the next day. I had already been in MA about a week ago. My timing was not good as I saw not one animal, heard a few birds. The sloth I saw was a 2km down a very steep hill at a little beach area, coming back up was harder. My room was comfortable. Hot water, AC, kettle and mugs. I missed out on the breakfast the view looked amazing from the garden eating area.

This property is right on the road so you will hear noise. The chorreador still had old coffee grains, and not been cleaned, minor.

Great location walking distance to everything and had parking on the street outside. The room was spotless and the shower was roasting a nice change compared to other places I had stayed to date in Costa Rica. Unreal breakfast the following morning included in the stay with a lovely view out of the coast to enjoy. Right across the road is a falafel bar.

Our stay at the sea view apartment in Costa Rica was unforgettable. Waking up to the sound of the ocean and watching monkeys, toucans, and even sloths from the balcony felt like living in a nature documentary. The view was stunning and the fresh, homemade breakfast every morning was next level — tropical fruits, fresh juice, and warm local dishes. Peaceful, beautiful, and full of life. Can’t wait to come back!

We had a wonderful time here! The location is perfect, very close to Playa La Macha and Manuel Antonio Park. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated — a true Costa Rican vibe. The sea view from the balcony is just stunning. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to assist us with anything we needed during our stay. It really made a difference. Great value for money, peaceful atmosphere, and lots of wildlife around. We’d come back without hesitation!
