Beautiful garden, great staff and perfect location next to the National Park! Soda’s and restaurants near by.

Nice and small cabins , hostel vibe but we stayed in a single cabin for two people . Very small only fits a bed but good for one night while on budget . Super nice staff nice property . Very fancy and comfy bathrooms and showers , they are shared but you will get a key and it’s private and their showers are with massage heads and just really nice .also great location close to everything

Bit small of you travel with bigger bags but if you travel light it’s perfect !

Kitchen available, fridge to store food. Close to the National Park Cahuita. Supermarket close by. Big shower. Big lockers.

It was raining a lot, which caused to flood the hostal. And like A LOT of rain. So not just a regular rain shower. More like a thunder storm and cloudburst. A lot of rooms got flooded. It's located in a lower part of the village. If it rains I really recommend to put your valuable stuff, electronics, etc, in the locker to make sure it doesn't get wet. The hostal washed my stuff that got wet, for free. They put me and the other guests in a cabin for the night, for no additional cost. We were taken care of very well, but the rain might cause problems.

Hostel loses marks because twice I asked cleaners for things and twice I was ignored so I felt the customer service was not very good. Had a problem with ants wasn't really dealt with

I didn't stay in the weird ewok boxes so can't speak to that, but I did not notice the soothing sounds of nature so much as the blaring radio from the property next door. Check in time was unreasonably late and the front desk is all but abandoned at night.

Staff are great, very helpful, location is perfect, room and bathrooms are clean, the garden is beautiful, and I love that animals are roaming around unbothered.

I know we're in the tropic but the lack of hot water bothers me. Sometimes you come from a walk all wet from the rain and a bit cold and the last thing you want is a cold shower. And maybe the bathroom didn't have a good ventilation because it smelled bad. It's a hostel, so be prepared to be tolerant with screaming kids early in the morning and careless parents that don't even try to control them. There must be rules for noise in shared accommodations.

Location was good - near parque nacional. Hammock chairs were at hit with my daughter. The showers were wonderful - warm water with good pressure.

A neighbor was playing loud music late in the evening the first night, and the second night a different neighbor was smoking outside our screen door at 1am.

The place is quiet, clean and located a few minutes walk from the national parks, beaches, the bus stop and restaurants. The kitchen and shared bathrooms are extremely cleaned. The staff is very friendly and always ready to give advice. The only noise at night and early morning comes from the monkey. I end up staying 2 extra night

Make sure to book when you are 100% sure that you are going as they are very strict with the reservation. As I missed my flight connection in Colombia, I could not arrive as planned. Despite showing proof of my trip distruption, they still charge me. During myvtravel I experienced that some other accommodations still managed to change/cancel the reservation, so I know that they can bend their own rule. A mirror in the room would be nice Other than that, nothing to complain
