Windows dont open, so the air can get stuffy sometimes but it keeps free from noise Breakfast has few options but for the price, its ok

Location is very close to main attractions Very american 80/90’s style hotel Rooms are huge, mine was 32 metres Microwave, fridge, coffee machine in the room and ice machine by the emergency exit, makes a big positive impression. Room was clean Everything worked properly

This hotel feels secure and has a secure lot for the car and the staff was quite helpful. It has all the charm a corporate hotel and I would recommend a place to spend the night on your way in or out Costa Rica.

We were only in town for an overnight before our flight. We appreciated the restaurant across the street and the included breakfast the next morning. The room was comfortable and clean. Exactly what we were hoping for.

The good value means the decor is a bit dated inside the rooms. However, it is very clean.

Ease of access to facilities. Laundry on second floor . Buffet breakfast Coffee, fruit, cereal, gallo pinto, eggs. Central to tours and shuttle pick up Shuttle to airport access for smaller fee most days . Verify which days. Access to city parks, souvenir shops, and not far from Jade museum , national museum, gold museum , and national theater. A tourist hub, that’s a good thing if you are new to CR. Recommended for a stay between shuttles and tours to access the city. Nice comfortable lobby and sitting areas. On site restaurant , a bit expensive, but does have substantial meals and drinks. 2 blocks to MUSI if collecting bread, beer, soda , or empanadas for shuttle ride out of town. ( You need food for the journey)

We had no complaints about the hotel. Everything was better than satisfactory, and the location was excellent for exploring the city center.

This is an American-style hotel in the heart of downtown San Jose, within just a few blocks of three major museums and several parks & restaurants, as well as the Plaza de la Cultura and the National Theatre. The hotel offers all the important amenities to the business or personal traveler - comfortable beds and bedding, good service by staff, a better-than-average breakfast buffet, adequate toiletries, fluffy towels and a spotless bathroom, very good lighting, reliable free WiFi and protected parking.

One complaint is that when you go from the hotel to the hotel restaurant you have to go through the "smokers gauntlet". There is an open area and the smokers congregate there and you have to hold your breath. They really need to move them from that area to someplace else, maybe to Pitcairn Island. Also water pressure in the shower could be better.

Have stayed here many times before. Nice hotel, safe with much security. Breakfast provided daily is always fresh and ample. The hotel restaurant has good food at all times. I like staying here everything always works upkeep good. Usually a quiet business and family hotel.

The shower was cold the first day and the rooms are a little dark, it's an older hotel so I guess it's how it was designed but you rely on lamps rather than ceiling lights

I was able to drop my bags off early and it was mentioned that I might be able to check in early, however when I returned my room wasn't ready so Donovan did what he could to find another for me - it was definitely appreciated The room was spacious and a very short walk to the centre
