The best thermal place in Arenal Volcano. You will find many alternatives to enjoy thermal pools, but this is the best one by far. Natural river pools.

Food in the restaurants was not very good and very expensive.

Impeccably maintained grounds and squeaky clean room. Bed was very comfortable. Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful.

The Tucans restaurant is just average. Food is served nicely, but bland and overpriced.

Thermal resort was highlight of our whole stay in CR. It was our second time here, but definitely not last.

We could not reserve for two nights that we planned for Arenal Volcano area. The hotel is very popular. We really wished we could stay one more night but had to move on to Monteverde. Our “neighbor“ guest family members were talking aloud outside our room for a while at night but once they got into their room to carry on their conversation it was quiet again for good sleep.

This was our second stay at the hotel. We loved our stay here five years ago so much we wanted to make sure to stay here again. Originally we wanted to stay for two nights but due to its popularity only one day stay was possible for our scheduled itinerary. Our experience was fully satisfactory again. The hot spring is still the “must” for us and we enjoyed thoroughly for two days (even before checkin time and after checkout time. Staff, all of them, were epitome of kindness and prompt attention and professional service. They all speak English fluently too. Breakfast buffet was excellent and the dinner at the hotel springs was also first-rated. Next time we travel to Costa Rica we will definitely schedule our itinerary early enough and around this hotel’s availability for at least two nights. We had two rooms, both of which were meticulously maintained clean and high quality bedding. Shuttle van operated very frequently with very minimum wait time.

If you book directly on their website breakfast is included. So best to book directly with them as bookings doesn't include it and it's 30 per person. I already paid a lot for the room so it doesn't make sense that it's not include it.

Location was perfect! Views of the Arenal volcano from the hotel were amazing and thermal springs were awesome! Kids had a lot of fun in the springs. We dinned at the restaurant and the Food was awesome. Would love to come again.

However, it’s worth noting that the room was somewhat dimly lit, and we had to step outside to see the promised volcano view, as it wasn’t visible from inside the room. The breakfast offered at the hotel is overpriced for what it provides.

We spent 2 nights at this hotel and were overall satisfied with our stay. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, making our stay enjoyable. We were particularly impressed by the sensational hot springs, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Overall, a recommended accommodation for a relaxing stay with the opportunity to explore the natural wonders of the area.
