We enjoyed our stay at Tamarindo Sunshine. The room and bathroom were spacious, clean and had a nice balcony to sit in. Sol & Emmanuel were very considerate and though of the little things their guests would need during their stay (ex. beach towels and chairs, umbrellas, flashlight, coffee etc). Staff were kind and responsive to our messages. It was located in a good area, about 3 mins walking distance to the beach and a 5 min walk to Jardin Tamarindo food truck park and other restaurants. Please note there was construction near the area which may be noisy (it started around 6 am even on Weekends) and the path to the resident was very muddy. Also, suggest carrying bug spray as there were mosquitoes in and out of the room. Overall, it was a beautiful property and we had a great stay. Thank you!

Highly recommended. Lovely oasis of a property hidden a block back from the main avenue. Nicely located...walk to the beach in < 5 minutes and into town in < 10 minutes. The property itself was very clean, secure and beautiful. Our room was comfortable and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. The property manager was exceptional - she was available, generous and took time to help us with a special accommodation we required. Walk to the beach was short...less than 5 minutes. Parking space was available during our visit.

Emmanuel was very helpful! You are in good hands if you choose to stay here. It's a 5 mins walk to the beach and less than 10mins from a mini market/liquor store. The hotel provides beach chairs and beach towels.

Everything was excellent, impeccably clean, beautifully decorated with attention to detail! In the room you can find everything a traveller needs (even beach towels etc). The host was super friendly and helpful. The location is awesome as well - nearby the beach (3 minutes) and busy central parts with bars, restaurants etc, but also on a quiet side street, so you don't hear anything. There is a beautiful garden as well.

The property is small set in a garden with trees and flowers. The room had a shady porch outside with seating. The property had loaner umbrellas which i thought a nice touch, since we are in the rainy season. I was given the WhatsApp for Emanuel should i need anything, and he was able to book me a shuttle to San Jose on my last day. Paula the housekeeper and the gardener, whose name i forgot, were accommodating. Everyone made me feel at home. Downtown and the beach are easy walking distances from the hotel.

The common area is really cute but I got lots of bug bites when waiting to check in. The outdoor bathroom is beautiful to look at but wasn't super convenient (recommended to close the door so no AC and also bugs come in)

The location was excellent and very close to the beach! Staff responds instantly via Whatsapp which is super convenient ! Room is a large size and is well thought out with all the amenities you need. Definitely recommended for a chill trip to Tamarindo!

How cute their bathroom was made our bathroom back home look like a mess! Truly, Tamarindo Sunshine was perfect.

This hidden gem just a block from the edge of the busier Tamarindo was everything we were looking for and more. Close to the beach, close to the town, quiet, AC was amazing, staff was phenomenal!

Only negative is the excessive need to point rules, it takes away the peace of mind, you are more concerned about not breaking a rule than enjoying the staying.

Not particularly sound proof units. You will be able to hear your neighbors, and they you, during your stay. As long as you are respectful of that you will have no issues.

This is a perfect and peaceful oasis in Tamarindo. Close to everything but perfectly situated, just short walk either way, between Tamarindo city center and Playa Langosta. The best aspect of Tamarindo Sunshine are the wonderful owners and staff. Your room will be clean and kept clean during your visit. Expect the typical Tamarindo issues due to the areas growth, like periodic water and electricity failure, but nothing that ever rises to the level of being a real nuisance. You will feel safe and at home here during your stay.
