Everything was great! Ian is a great guy and i would love to come back! If you want to stay around arenal volcano. This is the place!! The only thing i regret is that i did not stay longer here.

Ian the host was so welcoming and knowledgeable. The suite was even better than pictures and Ian had thought of every detail to make our stay delightful. The location is in Ian's beloved garden overlooking the lake.

Nothing! The short dirt road was totally worth it.

Fruit Tree Look no further, this is the place! This is one of the nicest Airbnbs I have ever stayed in. Ian thought of everything. So many nice amenities - costa rican coffee, wine, comfortable bed, beautiful big wood table and great shelves allow you to unpack. There is a nice area to read, play cards and a beautiful deck. The views are gorgeous. Ian is extremely passionate about his garden. We really enjoyed walking the property with him. In town we enjoyed the food and atmosphere at Moyas. Lunches were great at Soda Mayi’s. I loved this Airbnb and would love to come back. Thank you Ian for everything. I am so glad we found you! Pure Vida!

Nothing - everything was great!

Ian was so welcoming to his lovely property that was a lush and well tended garden with a variety of beautiful plants and trees located with a nice lake view. He also cares for a goat, Philomena, and other birds and small animals. The upstairs apartment where we stayed was comfortable, spacious, well stocked. Some wonderful little extras, fresh flowers sprinkled throughout, wine and a large sitting porch with great breezes to view toucans and other cool birds! We so enjoyed Ian’s tour around his property and learned so much. Definitely a highlight of our 3 week trip.

Beautiful location on lake Arenal. The suite is in a real fruit garden with different sorts of trees, there are also animals in the garden! You can walk down and swim in the lake [not an easy climb back] One can see Tucans in the trees! The host is fantastic and has a vast knowledge about the nature in the area.

I should have stayed longer!

Ian is the best host we could imagine possible. His generosity and passion about his regenerated land into a fruit garden was truly inspiring. While we were looking out over Lake Arenal, we enjoyed the delicious scents of flowers, fruits while toucans were flying by. I would definitely recommend his place to anyone who is looking for a sanctuary in the busy La Fortuna area!

The space was immaculate and had every amenity that you could need. The host, Ian, was so friendly and immediately made you feel comfortable and informed of where everything was located. He gave us a tour of his garden/land and it was a highlight of our visit. I cannot express how wonderful the experience there was and how beautiful the entire space is. I would come back in a heartbeat.

Ian was one of the nicest hosts we have ever experienced, and we have traveled the world . Highly recommend. Thanks again Ian.!! And we will see you again.
