Reviews of Tropical Garden Hotel

A liittle paradise in the center of Jacó. Such a tranquil and peaceful atmosphere! Very well maintained and beautiful garden with butterflies, iguanas, squirrels. You can hear both, the ocean which is just a few meters away and the birds in the trees around you. The little apartment was modern and very clean. TV and AC worked perfectly. The pool was also very clean and quite nice to swim in. Plenty of space around it or in the garden to enjoy. Private entrance to Jaco beach only a few meters to the main street with all these restaurants, shops and cafes etc (but incredibly quiet!) friendly staff

shampoo, shower gel and body lotion in the bathroom would have been nice instead of just a piece of soap. But really a minor issue

It was a garden oasis in the middle of Jaco. I could hear the waves and countless birds without hearing the parties in Jaco.

Opening and closing the gates was not great but ir provided excellent security on the property.

The location was great, rooms were clean, literally a 1 minute walk to the main road and a 1 minute walk to the beach.

Nothing.

A well-appointed spacious chalet with a fully equipped kitchen. Chalet is renovated and everything is new and have direct access to the beach. Location is great with a short walk to the main road, restaurants and supermarkets.

Looks deserted upon checked in but there are other guests staying in the chalets. The hotel only has chalets. There are no restaurants in the hotel. Although there is a security guard at late night, you have to open and close the gate to the hotel yourself at late night.

It’s very convenient close to the beach and shopping and the casino great price.

No free breakfast or hotel like facilities

Very nice place for staying. Everything is close- beach, shops and restaurants.

Beautiful garden and pool area.

We had booked a family apartment via Booking, which according to the description was supposed to be 90 m² in size and equipped with three French double beds. Unfortunately, the reality was very different. The apartment was at most half the size and there were only two real beds - the third "bed" was just a pull-out drawer under a bed, so absolutely not suitable, especially as this was also extremely uncomfortable. Unfortunately, the staff were not at all cooperative when we asked. We were not offered an alternative, nor did they seem to take the problem seriously. This is particularly disappointing because the complex itself is really nice and the rooms (apart from the incorrect description) would have been fine. But false information in combination with a lack of service - that's not on. Unfortunately, therefore, no recommendation from our side. The rooms are only cleaned, the towels replaced and the garbage bins emptied on request.

The late check-in process can be tricky but just make sure you bring cash to pay
