    Maybe the price :-)

A nice hotel with a lovely pool area in a prime location near the entrance to the national park and the beach. The breakfast was also good. There was a dehumidifier in our room, which helped to dry our clothes overnight.

A lot of light coming into the upstairs apartment from one window, would benefit from a blackout blinds there

Parking was limited, but they seem to have an okay system worked out for it. And the pillows where a bit too firm for me.

The location was great 200 meter walk to the national park, and 100 meters to the public beach. The pool was lovely. The bed was comfy. The staff was super nice and welcoming.

the parking was tight / Wi-Fi was spotty. It wasn’t a dealbreaker, but something to note. Overall, though, it was a wonderful stay and we’d come back again.

La Vela Boutique Hotel was wonderful! It’s in the perfect spot—just a short walk to Manuel Antonio National Park, the beach, and great restaurants. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the pool was nice, and the staff made us feel so welcome. We’d definitely stay here again!

My partner thought the mattress was too firm, but I thought it was fine.

Great location, so close to the park, and a short walk from the bus stop at Manuel Antonio Rodondo. Staff very helpful. Decent breakfast, again helpful staff. Room clean and spacious. Nice wildlife in the gardens.

Fabulous location. We walked to the beach and could walk to the entrance of Manuel Antonio National Park (which is important because it’s so crowded and parking is difficult). Beautiful, accommodating, and not a bad price!

Pipes in the hotel were extremely noisy. The soundproof could also be improved.

The hotel is located perfectly: close the park entrance and the beach. There are many restaurants and supermarkets in the area. The stuff was friendly and helpful, breakfasts were delicious, and the room cleaning service exceeded the expectations.

Hard pushed but no tv in lounge area, so you had to watch tv from bed, also wasn't happy about when you left your key it was just placed in a.pot on the reception desk, which wasn't always staffed. No checks as to which key or questions from.staff (if there) about mat hing names to keys. Often different people throughoutthe day.. Beach is a bit grotty, but we made full.use of the pool area and sunbeds.

Upgraded room to master suite which was a very nice gesture for our honeymoon, plus a bottle of red wine (3 nt stay). Fridge and microwave in room. Which was large and very comfortable massive bed and nice terrace area with sun beds.

We stayed here for two nights to visit the national park. Hotel was beautiful and clean. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was good. Location couldn't be better - you just walk few minutes to the entrance of the Manuel Antonio national park and also to the beautiful beach. Highly recommend if staying in Manuel Antonio.

    Nothing.

The LOCATION was amazing. We had a car rental but only used it once during our entire stay. Can walk to the beach, Manuel Antonio Park, and plenty of restaurants and markets around. Pool was fun! Saw monkeys, sloth, iguanas, and lizards on property. Breakfast was fantastic every morning. Traveled with our 3 year old and felt well taken care of by staff.

Parking a little tight as limited space outside the hotel.

Fantastic location, easy walking to Nacional Parque and beach. Modern comfortable room with terrace. Beautiful lush garden with lovely pool. Delicious breakfast served by the pool. Monkeys and Toucans spotted in the garden. Great value cocktails in Happy Hour. Overall, exceeded our expectations and would have happily stayed another night.

The atmosphere was relaxed and the facilities well thought through and beautiful. The place is surrounded by palms, iguanas, basilisks and monkeys, but was also always extremely clean. I loved that both accommodations we stayed in as a family had very well equipped kitchens, which gave us the flexibility that we needed as a family. The family suite was absolutely divine. The common room was enormous and so beautiful. If you wake up early in the morning you can observe the monkeys taking a walk on the electricity cables and surrounding trees (often with their babies!) from the terrace.

Missing shower handle (only shower top available) is only minus we found. Looks like soundproof is not so good as well, but all the guests were quit so it was not a problem.

Great location in the skirts of National Park, and hotel itself is a green oasis. A lot of animals comming to hotel yard from time to time. Rooms are comfortable, nice, quiet and cool in the evenings. We liked the pool, it is quiet and water is nice temperature. Personnel is very polite and cocktails in the bar are great. We loved breakfast too, a lot of fruit and nice cofee. A lot of restaurants near by for the dinner, but you can also try pizza from the oven in the hotel. Beach is also few minutes walk.

We were only there 1 night, but if we had stayed longer I would have preferred a room on the 1st floor with a bit more natural light.

Great location close to Manuel Antonio Park. We arrived very early as we had booked the park entrance at 7am and they let us leave our car. Staff on front desk and at breakfast were super friendly. They gave us a voucher for their sister restaurant and we had an excellent meal there. Room is basic, but has everything you need, quiet A/C and coffee making facilities.
