The location is good, but the breakfast was very bad because they told me they had ''gallo pinto'' only for one person, we were 4.

At 9pm the air conditioner stop working due the error F7 displayed on the digital screen, I tried to contact the customer service by text messages, calling, but they never answered, I even went to press the emergency button on the reception, but nobody came to help us, wehad to sleep with no air conditioner with that weather, too difficult to sleep that way.

This is a great place to stay considering most of the staff are volunteering they are so friendly breakfasts were gorgeous . We watched squirrel monkeys form the pool Scarlet Macaws fantastic . The only fault we had with this property was that you had to carry your luggage down lots of steps to get to your accommodation

We liked everything there - accomodation, swimming pool, trees and animals in surrounding and at least the people there were very nice, helpful. We hope to come back soon.

The Location is convenient, < 10 min drive to the bigger beaches, restaurants and Manuel Antonio Park. Randal, the GM was awesome and very helpful with everything. The surroundings were beautiful, always saw monkeys, lizards and birds while eating breakfast.

The pictures are definitely dated. The place is in desperate need of renovation, it looks like it hasn't been fixed since the 80s. The concrete and tile are all chipped and cracked. The showers are gross. We also experienced rolling power outages. There is also construction being done next door, so sometimes the crews would take the hotel parking spots and I worried my rental car would be hit. Other than the GM, the 'staff' are youth volunteers, and so have no interest or experience in hospitality and my questions or requests were often met with blank stares or shrugs.

Closed bar and restaurant event though it was promoted, the receptionist did not speak english, you cant decide what for breakfast - just one given dish, sometimes local, sometimes yoghurt with muesli - not enough protein, the room was small, difficult to get to, especially with luggage. The room with ants and lizard excrements.

The villas were very nice, also the swimming pool and the breakfast area. The breakfast was also very good.

The only thing is that the rooms are a bit outdated.

The pool and the lush surroundings were awesome! The room was great but the lack of a a TV was disappointing as darkness sets in by 6:30 and after dinner not much to do. Also the property advertised an on site bar that was not a real bar but a cooler with some wines in the office buildng. Where is the sit down for a few beers and meet for chat? Also advertised was a restaurant which there was not only the continental breakfast on site. There was an independent restaurant a short walk away which served as the bar and restaurant where they served good food and cold beers and cocktails.

Out dated rooms, no hot water, terrible noise beds. Very difficult to get to without a car. Nobody at the reception you have to wait for long periods. No even a bottle of water, coffee maker.

The rooms were tired and need updating. We had a connecting door to the adjoining apartment and could hear everything the couple who were staying there. The rooms were quite dark, not helped by having to keep the curtains closed so other guests in the overlooking apartments couldn’t see in. The receptionist was not particularly friendly or helpful on our arrival.

We stayed there a year ago and the place was run well. The manager at the time was very attentive. We were impressed by the management and chose the hotel for a stay this year. This year the management had changed and the place seemed poorly run with less attentive staff. A breakfast was provided but it was inedible due to poor quality oil. We sat down for breakfast but no one greeted us even though we could see them talking in the kitchen. The food was delivered without anybody talking to us or asking us about our dietary needs. The shower shampoo was empty but there was no one to ask even thought we rang the bell multiple times. The rooms are getting shabby.

Hotel area was really beautiful. Full of pretty wildlife. We saw monkeys, huge parrots, toucans and lots of iguanas. We loved the room and especially terrace. Also staff was kind. :)

Location was maybe a bit far from everything but our rent car helped a lot. Although the location made the hotel area really peacefull which is a plus.

It is located a nice 1km walk to beautiful empty beach, also the room had fridge and fans, which was helpful. Breakfast was different every day, and the location of the hotel was very nice within the greenery.

It’s close to the city center. It has a pool which is a plus but it needs to be cleaned out of bugs more often.

The place is nice although it needs some TLC in terms of the infrastructure. Not such a nice view to see a rusted stair path from your window.

One of our favorite things was breakfast - food was great but the location (and bird watching) was even better. Really enjoyed our leisurely mornings watching nature as we ate and drank excellent coffee.

We had some ants in our room throughout our stay.

Very very small breakfast, is not like the pictures. Air conditioning broken, doesn’t works properly. Couple of rat poop in the room.
