Fantastic accommodation in an incredible setting. Beautiful garden, great pool and hot tub. Excellent location near some good restaurants.

We received 2 coffee packets upon check in but didn’t get any the second day.

The location was good although we heard a lot of street traffic. We could walk to a few restaurants and shops.

The pool and hot tub were glorious. Front desk staff very helpful and friendly. Gardens beautiful and immaculate. Very comfortable rooms with small kitchen and lovely patio looking up to the beautiful Mt Arenal. Loved everything about it.

Right pretty property right in town and easy walking if you don’t have a car. Nice pool and hot tub. Clean and comfortable rooms.

A real gem of a place! Spotless room, with a view of the volcano. Beautiful gardens filled with birdlife and perfect pool complete with huge hot tub. Our young children loved running around the gardens and it felt safe because of the gate closed off to the main road. Amazing value and to top it off the staff were lovely and really helpful in booking activities, helping contact our car rental company when we had an issue with the car.

The structure is very beautiful and clean. There is a very large garden. And the volcano can be seen directly from the property, a super view. We had a small kitchenette area, with plates, cutlery, and a coffee machine. So we prepared a fruit breakfast with coffee. The supermarket is nearby, as well as many nice places.

It is close to the road, so in the mornings there was a bit of traffic noise. Nothing that would deter me from returning, though.

The location on the edge of town was great. Location was great for access to all the activities on the volcano side. The view was fabulous and the pool was perfect. The soda across the street was fabulous too!

Is not that I did not like and there is nothing which can be done. Sometimes the road traffic can be very noisy but my bungalow was among the first ones and it was inevitable not to hear the traffic.

The compound is lovely, very child friendly. the property has 3 very friendly and well behaved cats, and my kids are crazy about cats! Room excellent, very clean.

The beds were a little hard but we were only staying one night so it was not a big deal. The AC took a while to kick in but the fan kept us cool at night.

The staff were super helpful and welcoming. The gardens on the property were beautiful. The villa was clean and we felt safe. The outside hammocks was a nice touch to relax and listen to all the birds.

The shower didn't come hot but it was fixed. But still didn't come hot. A little dated. Location is good but the other side of the main commercial. We had to walk 30 mins to get to the main bars and restaurants.

Good size rooms. Jacuzzi and pool were great. Very friendly staff. Gardens are lovely to walk around. Cute cats on site. Very helpful and responsive staff. The rooms are a very good size. Fan and air conditioning. Fridge and cooking facilities too.

The resort had a pool and jacuzzi. Wonderful! All bungalows have a view of the Arenal Volcano. The grounds are lush, green and very beautiful with all the flowers. Plus it is a gated resort- a big plus! The receptionist was helpful.

If we were really pushed the pillows were lumpy but that is insignificant! No kettle but we got the hang of boiling water through the coffee machine for tea!

The staff were so friendly, immaculate everywhere. Easy check in, got into our room early. Very secure, beautiful gardens and pool area with seating around the garden. Serene and tranquil even though just off the main road. Plenty of places to eat and great laundry opposite. Supermarkets to keep you supplied with drink/food. Clean bright room, good shower and hairdryer at reception. Many trips nearby, we loved this place and didn’t want to leave, and we have travelled a lot.

The grounds are amazing. Beautiful gardens and pool area. The hot jacuzzi was great after hiking. The room was huge and had a handy kitchenette. Overall, we would have loved to stay longer.

We loved the peace and quiet just on the edge of town. The gardens were beautiful, and the beds were comfortable. Very friendly helpful staff. There was a simple kitchen with a good sized fridge, a coffee maker and a small microwave. It suited us perfectly, and we loved sitting on the terrace watching the birds and the ever changing Volcano. Good restaurants within 5 - 10 minutes walk. Taxis were easy to call, and cheap.

Only thing I recommend is a bit more lighting in the rooms

The rooms were nice and cozy, clean with some basic kitchen supplies. Pool was nice area. Hammock outside of the rooms, grounds were beautiful. Staff were great and very helpful.

The only thing I would suggest would be to add more hangars in the closet and hooks on the walls for wet clothing and towels. Also the shower door did not shut.

This was a beautiful property. It was well maintained and safe. There were so many trees, flowers and shrubs to look at. We also loved sitting on the porch watching the birds and the cats. The pool and jacuzzi were nice and well kept. The house was clean and beds were comfortable. We appreciated that there were no strong chemical cleaning smells. This location was close to everything in the town but yet we felt like we were in our own little oasis and it felt very private. The staff were very friendly and so helpful. I’m very happy we chose this location. I will recommend it to anyone going to La Fortuna.
