Our stay at Cap Azul was amazing! The location is absolutely incredible, with unbeatable sea views and the sound of waves as you sleep—pure relaxation. The photos don’t do it justice; it’s even more beautiful in person. Guillaume the owner is very friendly, and check-in and check-out were seamless. The breakfast was delicious and overall, it was the perfect stay, and we highly recommend it!

Everything, great location lovely sea view and an amazing staff

If you don’t have a car it may be difficult to go there. Also as a suggestion I would recommend a coffee machine same way they do with the water and drinks

The place itself is nice although a bit secluded.

There wasn’t really any staff there except for what appeared to be the owners who spoke little English or Portuguese so it was a bit hard to communicate. The reception was a bit awkward, no towels in the bathroom, the curtains could use a little wash.

The room was spacious, cool and clean with a balcony. Very nice space. Our breakfast and evening meal were very tasty. Only complaint was the bathroom door made so much noise when opened that one couldn’t go to the bathroom without waking the other up - very annoying!

We loved this simple guesthouse by the sea. Warm welcome and a feeling of peace and utter contentment... Good restaurants walking distance along the beach

Nice bedroom with private bathroom and balcony with ocean view. Wifi worked great. Breakfast included.

Nothing not to like! ;) It was a bit out of town though, need a taxi to drop you off and pick you up, if you don't have a rental car.

Gorgeous property in an exceptional location overlooking the sea with a view of Sao Vincente. A great place to catch your breath and relax while travelling in Cape Verde. The breakfast is delicious, the owners welcoming and helpful while respecting privacy and space.

Lovely relaxing position, nice pool , room and breakfast. Very well run. Unfortuantly the nearby restuarant is closed and you have to get into town for a meal. There is a very nice walk along the sea that takes about 40min. We walked back along the road in the dark with no problem. Taxi is around 4 Euros. Port Novo is devoid of good restuarants. We had a bad experience in a couple. Luckiliy Autentico exists (near the ferry terminal). We ate there on each of our 4 days. Wonderful local, well prepared food at a good price.

I loved the room, incredible view, awesome location, the owner, their wonderfully cute dog. I planned to stay 1 night, but ended up staying 3 nights because I loved this place so much.

I loved everything

Clean, comfortable rooms with acces to a big private roof terrace. Nice swimming pool and sunbeds where you can relax in the sun or shade. You can take a walk over the beach to restaurant Sabores Ratatui or further into the city, which is nice. A taxi from the hotel to the ferry was 400 escudos.

Only place on Santo Antão where we've had mosquitos. However there's a net in the room and also a fan which keeps them away.

Light rooms with a vast view of the ocean and São Vicente and a large balcony with multiple seating arrangements. The rooms are no-frills but really nicely furnished and very clean. The owner provides carefully selected breakfast options. If you prefer to take your breakfast alone, you can also take it back to your room and eat on the balcony, which we did and quite enjoyed.
