3.FURNITURE I felt a little bit uncomfortable with something that I want to share, just to improve the great permofance of Casa Évora. Take it as a frienfly approach shared by a 'fan'! Would you like toconsider to use a kind of replaceable 'cover' up on the sofas ? I find it could be a very functional option as the current one it made with fabrics

1.BREAKFIRST Tasty & varied berakfirst. Loved it. However, if less expensive I surely would take it everyday. Maybe the property could make some extra profit with a better price, I guess. 2.LOCATION Wonderful location, amazingly beautiful! Have to confess that I am a Djarmai lover since ever ! I am a frequent user of booking.com ( from Portugal, Germany, Cabo Verde - I now live in Praia, Santiago Island ). They also gave me a really surprising offer to upgrade my stay and I could take the excellent Cesaria suite. It overcame my higher expectations! Suggestions ...?

The price of breakfast was a bit high. I would have preferred to select fewer items and pay less for the complete breakfast, but I also understand that getting food to the island right now is quite challenging. Our bathroom also needed a few repairs which should easily be fixed between guests.

The location of the hotel was perfect. It was located right by the beach. The staff were lovely and friendly. The bed was also great, I haven't gotten 8+ hours of sleep in a while. The breakfast on the balcony in the morning was always a great way to start the day. I would definitely stay here again.

A bit of shampoo and shower gel would have been nice, but it's ok.

This place was great! Staff was friendly, room was big and clean (was also cleaned every day), the location was perfect, breakfast was good and served on the balcony overlooking the ocean. Would have stayed longer if I could have (unfortunately we were depending on the ferry to Santiago)

More flies and mosquitoes around the house. They have net. More noises from locals but it’s ok. Outside at day time more flies and night another flies. So please close the netted windows. The room was hot I don’t why.

Great location at the ocean with a fantastic view from the balcony where you have breakfast. Comfortable, spacious room and bathroom. Perfect place to stay when you are on Maio island. Breakfast is very good but pricy

We enjoyed the waterfront location; we had a small balcony from which we could see the ocean and we enjoyed breakfast on a lower balcony which faced the ocean. Our room was large and comfortable and transport was arranged to meet us at the airport and take us to the ferry at the end of our stay.

The bed sheets were grainy. Felt dusty and made me itchy. It was also very hot and the breakfast is very expensive compared to other places.

The location is excellent so is the staff.

Breakfast options were limited, even if we took the « complete » version (there was no cereals, cheese from Maio, etc. as mentioned in the menu). Staff was helpful but sometimes not as welcoming as the other reviews mention.

We had a pleasant stay at Casa Evora. We stayed in the room Solange which is situated right next to the main « road » of Maio, and quite exposed to the street (expect noises if you stay there). The room is ok, but nothing comparable to a Boutique Hotel room. The hotel is conveniently situated, in front of the main road and next to the beach.

we had a really bad experience ipon arrival, as one of the members of the staff at the reception had a very unpleasent welcoming to one of us. Right after when we enter in our room we found that the room was supper dark and the tiles of the shower were cracked, they announce themselves as a luxury!!!!and is not at all!!!

we think that the best of the property was the location….
