It would been better if it was closer to city center or an area with better access to the beach.

The guest house is a bit far from the center of Sao Filipe.

No staff on duty after 7.00pm. No easy contact with hotel after that. Only one dim light in bedroom and no bedside light. First night no drinking water, no glass or cup, no soap or washing gel. On checking out staff (young girl) had no idea of what to charge. No English spoken. Poor staff, when they were there, and communications difficult for a tourist.

Breakfast could be improved, some of the food was a bit old and there was not much choice. Bottled water was promised in the listing but they had ran out when we arrived so we didn't receive any. We asked the property both online and in person to arrange a taxi to the airport on the morning of the check out and we were told there would be a taxi. There was no taxi and the property was unresponsive. We had to ask the cleaner to help us get a taxi that morning as it was early, which she was able to do.

The view was amazing and the kitchen facilities were handy. Cleaning staff were super friendly and very helpful.

The location is far from everything, including the beach you can see from the window yet. You need to walk 20 min to find any food or shop, and no breakfast is served.

The room is very spatious, and so the bathroom, all and confortable. The view on the sea from the balcony and the terrace on top of the building is also very nice

Hard bed with springs. The wifi was much slower than advertised (a few Mbps at most) - but 4G reception is available.

Quiet place and very nice staff. The room was really dark, but the rooftop is really nice and has a lot of shade. You may cook also for yourself on the rooftop where there is a kitchen and a bar.

Except the rooms, there is no possible breakfast, no place to stay, like a lounge or a patio... It is not that close from the restaurants... The name is " guesthouse" but not sure this is the best definition for it.

The rooms are nice, and the air conditioning is appreciated when it is hot and humid outside. The shower is really good, with hot water! The TV has internet connection. But...

A possibility to have breakfast would be lovely!

I was upgraded to a room with balcony facing the sea. Absolutely delightful sight. Very quiet hotel with everything you need. Of course it's very impersonal, a generic hotel room, so if you're looking for an authentic Cabo Verdian experience this is not for you, but if you're looking for a clean, spacious, quiet and comfortable place to rest, it is perfect. The cleanliness was not perfect but was pretty good ; nothing too problematic. The AC is a huge advantage!

Clean new hotel room in village area. Beautiful black sand beachfront. Rooftop with seating and bar overlooking clear ocean. Host very responsive. Overall great value. FYI ONLY: Plan your meals for evenings. Restaurants will accept orders up to 10pm and deliver to room

The TV in the room was not working, the door lock was always difficult to lock or open the room. I had to leave my room open when I was out sometimes. I have to the reception a couples of times and there wasn´t anyone there. Even know they informed about the TV situation, nothing was done to fix it until the time of my check out.

I really enjoyed the view to the ocean from the room. The bed is very comfortable and the shower is also very good. The room is big and allow you to have space to work and keep your luggage. Since they were not serving breakfast, there was a restaurant (Tchon de Fogo) 5 minutes walk. Another thing is the check out time. They allow to stay until the time that you have to go to the airport without charging anything.

Having a room towards the sea... just great. Sunset on the balcony. View towards Brava island. Breakfast on the top terrace... nice, but rather simple (well, fresh Papaya were super!). Nice people at the reception... no word in english... but we understood each other perfectly ! Reservation and payment without any problems. They sent a taxi to the airport to pick us up.

One of our rooms had soap and shower gel dispensers, but the other (identical) room did not. No kettle in the room.

Great views of the black sand beaches and the sea, and in the distance, Santiago. Bathroom and showers were great, AC was good, wifi was good. Mini fridge with some water in the room.

Communication with the young girl who was in the reception when I came, was difficult because she didn't understand a word English! The room was perfect.....with the balcony and ocean views....only problem was that there was much noice from the ocean which mad it difficult to sleep! :-) The balcony had no furniture....maybe a small table and two chairs would have made it more comfortable....but for one person one night it was not a problem!
