We had a really lovely stay, the location is really nice, just a short walk up from the beach and towncenter, and the view from the terrace is amazing. The owner is friendly and attentive, and helped us whenever we had a question or concern. The food is also really nice, freshly prepared and with local products. We’ll definitely be back!

Really good place, in the middle of the village. Meals are perfect with good quantities. The view is also magical, and can provide you the rare opportunity to see whales ! Something you don’t want to miss ! The owner is really nice, and will provide you good advices.

The location is great. Right in the heart of small Tarrafal, a bit uphill with some parking spots below the terrace. The owner is superfriendly, speaks some languages, helps with info you need and is always reachable via booking or WhatsApp. Our room was amazing, we just opened the door and were on the amazing terrace, overlooking the village facing west for beautiful sunsets and the ocean, where you can sit and relax. The room has a big bed, enough plugs to charge and a private bathroom with hot shower. Everything is really clean and has a totally relaxing vibe. The owner prepared fresh diner for us, there is always something to drink and the breakfast was really good (and included). Wifi works great too. I can totally recommend this place!

everything was perfect

great host, good location, good sunset terras. Ivandro also helped us with the taxi collectivo from/to porto novo & he showed us local grogue. For lunch & dinner you need to reserve in advance in the restaurants because all vegetables are coming from porto novoand, Ivandro also made all reservations for us. the washing machine was very nice as most of our clothes were dirty after 14 days.

I would have liked to stay longer and will definitely come back

The host Evandro is wonderful, makes you feel welcome, answers to all your questions, and gives good advice if we ask. Our host organized the trasport from and to Porto Novo. Amelia prepares a wonderful breakfast. The place is great, it is full of history, it is beautifully decorated with vintage furniture that belonged to the family, Evandro will tell you the history if you ask. The bed is confortable, the place is spotless clean. The sunsets at the terrace are amazing, as well as gazing at the starts in the evening before bedtime. I strongly recommend this place to stay, and I will come back.

This place is simply amazing with a spectecular view where you can enjoy the sunset with a beer. Evandro and Amélia were super-nice and they made our stay even more homelike. I also would like to mention Heidy from the restaurant called Top d’Coroa (just right below KazaLadera) who made super delicious lunch for us because we did not know at first that meals must be booked in advance in the village. Overall our stay in Tarrafal was perfect!

The owner Ivandro is very friendly and helpful - he booked restaurants for us and we felt very quickly like we were at a friend's house. View from the terrace is amazing. And the house is an historic house. We could leave our food in the communal fridge and use kitchen as we please.

The view of the hostel was insanly beautiful and amazing. You can see the unique sunset from there and in the night there are lots of shiny stars on the sky. The Hostel owner Ivan is really sweet and open. We immediately felt like family. He have us some tips and we cooked together. The kitchen is really clean and you can find everything you need. The breakfast is also really good and yummi. It is totally worth coming to Kaza Ladera, i would denenitly recommend it :)

When we arrived nobody was on spot. We had to wait. After one hour we were told, that the place has been overbooked. No excuses. We got a room in another pension.
