The shower cabin was relatively small, the breakfast was good but very basic, the staff in the restaurant was very reserved and seemed lazy (they did not ask customers if they need anything hot).

Not the cheapest but very good location, big rooms, nice balcony. Breakfast not great but OK. Close to ferry and airport. I used this hotel as my Praia base traveling Brava, Fogo, Maio.

I was overcharged for my room (as the higher-quality double room I booked was not available but I was still charged up-front for that room but then given a lower-quality twin room). I was repeatedly ignored when I tried to resolve the matter with the manager. This became a cat-and-mouse game of me trying to find and talk to the manager to resolve the matter over a period of 3 days. And I have still been ignored several weeks following my stay, with no offer to recompense me. As a result I fell like I have been treated with disdain, an experience I have never yet had after 30 years of business travel in over 60 countries worldwide.

Cant think of a particular thing I didn't like at this hotel.

This is my third visit to Santiago and 3rd stay at this hotel! The location is excellent for the purpose of my visit, as its located in a beautiful area of the city and in a walking distance to almost everything. The Plateau (where the hotel is located) is a very classic area of the city with beautiful buildings and streets. Very easy and safe to walk, and many food options at walking distance. The hotel service is excellent, from the General Manager to the Housekeeping ladies. All do their best for your comfort, and make sure you have what you need. They also provide airport shuttle (paid) at request, and the driver will be waiting at the airport with your name. If I return to Praia, no doubt will be there again.

We spent 1 night here after our 2 weeks Cabo Verde trip before we flew back home and we just needed a comfortable, air-conditioned room to relax. This hotel is perfect for it: clean and big room, with comfortable bed and with a super-nice staff. We also liked the breakfast and the view from our room. Absolutely recommended

Not at all very bad experience. This hotel is very bad. I stayed and payed for 3 nights with my visa card and then he cancelled my booking and mentioned no show and charged me additionnal one night because I decided to leave the hotel the next day. When I arrived the room was not made and he called someone to fix the bathroom then I decided to change the room and in the new room the air condition was not working well there was water on the floor. I called the receptionist at 2am in the morning and I didnt sleep at all. the Manager was very rude and didnt want to give me back my money even though I only slept one night in the hotel and I paid for 3 night.

The room has very dark decor. We also had several issues with the room. First, the hallway to our room smelled very musty. The lights in the hallway only worked half the time. Inside our room, more than half the lights didn't work, so it was difficult to see anything in half the room. In addition, the bathroom counter was dirty, and there was mildew/mold on the ceiling. The water pressure in the shower was variable. The minibar was not stocked and the fridge was dripping brown water. We did not have issues with internet, but the wifi was not working in half the hotel during our stay. While the staff was very helpful, the manager was unresponsive. He was contacted multiple times about the issues in our room and did not respond. We also witnessed a phone call in which he hung up on his staff.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. When we had trouble booking a tour, they arranged one for us. Ady was also extremely helpful with addressing issues that occurred overnight. The breakfast was delicious and had a lot of options.

The wifi was terrible. The first day, the wifi in my room was not working and I couldnt get another room until the next day. The second day I got a new room and everything worked well. The 3rd day however, the wifi was not working again. Not even in the reception area, Also breakfast was very poor.

Good location, and really big rooms with a nice view over the city. Good beds, and quiet yet still with a good choice of bars and restaurants nearby.
