How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewThe villa had everything we needed, very clean and comfortable. The owners were very accommodating and friendly, nothing was too much trouble and looked after us well. There were foody apps we could use if we didn't feel like going out to eat which were very easy to use

Verified reviewThe property was beautiful. It is Modern & well looked after. An en suite bathroom in every bedroom as well as a separate toilet downstairs was a big bonus. The owner was so friendly & helpful. Disability friendly with ramps in and out of property was brilliant. Loved seeing & feeding the cats each day.
The location was a bit out of the way and taxi drivers & delivery drivers found it difficult to find.

Verified reviewThe house was well equipped with all the necessities. We didn’t have a problem at cooking as the kitchen had all the utensils we needed. The bedrooms were comfy and 4 bedrooms with a bathroom in each bedroom was really a great luxury we don’t often get.
It was a bit hard to find how to turn on the air conditioning and the pool table was too old to use.

Verified reviewWe travelled as a family of 10 everything was perfect, very spacious and it was great each room has a bathroom. On arrival the property was very clean, pool attendant comes regularly to check the pool. Konnos Bay is beautiful but it is a steep walk back to villa you have to be fit. Host a as fantastic and come back very quickly with any questions we had.
A manual would have been useful to explain how things work and about getting rid of rubbish etc. umbrellas around pool need replacing as rusty

Verified review3 out of 4 rooms have private bathrooms, the pool and the jacuzzi were amazing, the kitchen has everything you need and the location is a quiet area that's very close to many restaurants by walking distance or 10 min drive. the way to the beach was not far and not that difficult. we will definitely come again.
the place is close to the beach (10 min walking), but the way to the beach is not the easiest one. something like 80 wooden stairs go down and on the way back up. for us, it wasn't an issue, but maybe for others, it will. also, the place has a laundry machine and dishwasher, but if you wish to use it, be aware you need to buy the pills by yourself.

Verified reviewThe inside of the villa was spotless and well equipment The owner replied very quickly to any problems raised, was really helpful & acted on them as quick as possible
The outside area was untidy upon arrival ( previous residents belongs left behind , t-shirt & shoes) and cigarette on table, few issues with the pool being dirty but that’s from an outside company not doing what contracted to do and the owners did everything they could to rectify the situation.

Its prime location was the perfect combination of tranquility and convenience, just a 10-minute walk from Kannos Beach and a short 10-minute drive to the city centre. However, what truly made our experience exceptional was the outstanding hospitality of our hosts. Their attentiveness and warmth made us feel right at home and elevated our stay. We highly recommend this place

Verified reviewBeautiful villa with everything you need for your staying. It was very clean. The rooms are big and the beds are comfortable. You have nearby a supermarket for shopping. The konnos beach is very beautiful and it's within walking distance from the villa. The host was very nice and answered all the questions we had very quickly.
