Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SlovakiaAir conditioning facing to bed, so that it could not be turned on while sleeping. Beach is small and rocky, swimming shoes are recommended. Staff in restaurant is either not cleaning dirty plates, or if I went to take a glass of water, they took my plate with food.
Pools are big enough, rooms clean, good quality food.

SwedenThis is not a negative thing, just something to note. The hotel and its swimming area seems to be more suitable for kids 8 years old and up. The swimming lagoon is pebble and rocks, no long sandy strip to sit for long with a toddler. But there is a small pool near the main pool for toddlers. But overall saw mor adults or parent with teenage children.
Our room was spacious, clean and well-designed. The food was great, with good variety: everyone was able to find something they liked. The staff were helpful and polite. The lagoon near the hotel was great to swim, there was an indoor and an outdoor gym. No crazy loud music, very calm and nice. The was some music near the pool during entertainment and in the evenings in the bar, but never bother us: sound insulation in the hotel is good. We are very pleased with our stay and will definitely come back again!

United KingdomThe hotel was lovely but in places could do with a bit more TLC on maintenance but nothing that would spoil your stay, and the one thing that bugged me was one of the sellers for the massage kept on asking if you would like a massage even after you said no he would be back within the hour to ask again.
I wasn’t expecting much from the hotel as pictures can be deceiving but on arrival the entrance looked clean and welcoming then when we got to our room I was very pleased with the cleanliness and spacious area that we had we had a 1 bed apartment the bedroom had 2 bed and the lounge had 2 comfortable sofa beds each room had a small balcony, we only had breakfast in our package as we were going to be busy most of the week, the breakfast was outstanding lots to choose from and fresh every day, the omelettes were very good and cooked while you waited. On our last day we upgraded to the all inclusive package for an excellent rate and the food we had was once again very good with lots of variety and also included drinks. There were food themed nights throughout the week and our night was Italian cuisine which didn’t disappoint. The grounds of the hotel were kept clean and there was lots of sun beds available, the pools were clean and inviting but I choose to swim in the little cove at the bottom of the hotel and yes it is slightly rocky but that is the landscape of the area and I loved it. The hotel reception area was large and cool and there was another large seating area upstairs to chill, pool table were also available however we didn’t use then, and family entertainment was available on the evenings, also pool activities were also provided again we didn’t use but other guests took advantage of. There is also a path at the bottom of the hotel that is a nice coastal walk which ever way you go. The rooms were serviced every day with bins emptied and fresh towels when needed. I felt very safe at this hotel and would definitely go back.

United KingdomIf I have to say anything it's the same scenario where ever I go. The towels on sun beds and no one to be seen. I struggled to get a sun bed one day and people were placing their towels and not even sitting on the beds for hours.
Akti Resort was very lovely. Food was amazing. Accommodation was perfect. Staff all friendly.

HungaryThe alcoholic drinks were good, although it was a shame some spirits were not included with all-inclusive, e.g., Aperol.
The food was superb. There was a large variety every day, and they had different cuisine themes each night. The staff were always incredibly friendly (Milan and Babita were exceptional) and the rooms were very clean.

RussiaThere was a giant cockroach in the room. But that's what you probably should expect when you are living on the ground floor. We had only breakfast included in the rate, so we lacked nice place to eat by the hotel. (we tried dinner in the hotel once, and were not impressed)
I loved the hotel's layout: it featured small, cosy houses and a labyrinth of paths connecting them. The pools are clean and a small beach is right by the hotel (which is actually a luxury in the area). The breakfast was decent.

United KingdomDefinitely need a car/ transport to get to shops and sights. Also access to beach not the best. Shuttle bus available but timings are restricted and only a short amount of time to spend at the harbour/explore the town. However the Mini Market on site was well stocked with all basic stuff including souvenirs Atmosphere could be further improved with a bit more music in public areas/lobby and by pool during the day not just during organised activities
Very friendly staff. Good range of day/night entertainment if you don’t want to go out. Good maintenance of the pools and good that the staff monitor towels on sun beds so plenty for all. Theme nights open to all guests (subject to charge if not in your inclusive booking) good range of food. BBQ night the best!! Breakfast- great range of food and choice. Accommodation spacious and also cleaned every day (except Sun) Pleasantly surprised to note it was busier than I expected with constant stream of guests from all different countries. Family friendly. Good maintenance of the grounds and landscaping.

IrelandLocation - a little away from things, renting a car is not a bad idea. Shuttle bus is handy & cheap option though.
Pleasant surroundings, nice friendly staff, good facilities & plenty of activities & entertainment. Hotel and rooms are well kept & clean. We upgraded to all inclusive & the food & drink was very good overall. We arrived late at night. We were given a bag with sandwiches, cake & fruit which was a lovely touch & received a warm welcome at 2.30am too.

CyprusNo cloth or dishwashing liquid to clean your dishes. We left 1 cup and 1 glass and it was still left in the sink after room was cleaned.
Great selection for breakfast and plenty of space. 1 bedroom apartment was very spacious - beds very comfortable. Was very nice to be given a large bottle of water and some coffee/tea in the apartment on arrival. Also as we checked in very late we were given 2 sandwiches, 2 pieces of cake and 2 apples. Very nice touch since we were b&b only.

United KingdomWater pressure in the second floor shower. Relaxing Spa room is part of a general indoor swimming pool area & jacuzzi & sauna. Not inducive for treatment to relax. (Very noisy with kids screaming , playing and jumping in pool and adults shouting and talking very loudly)
The view over the sea. Room was big, clean but a bit noisy in evening because of entertainment. Air-con needed to be operated in reception. Shower was great. Food was tasty and enough variety to choose from. Lots of activity to join. Sun loungers were well placed. Friendly staff.
