We had a wonderful stay! Everything was perfect. Miss Eleni was very helpful and generous, making our visit even more enjoyable. I can’t wait to come back and stay here again!

The view was fantastic and it was very private and quiet. The local town is beautiful and the roads are in good condition. The host was absolutely lovely and provided us everything we needed and more. I would 100% recommend this property to anyone looking for a chill holiday.

We loved this place. Eleni’s enthusiasm for Alikii’s houses was infectious and rightly so. The location, views, planting, sounds and smells were tantalising. The information given along with the warmest of welcomes was exceptional

I never give a perfect 10 score but Aliki's House deserves it and more! From the moment we arrived we felt well cared for by our host, Eleni, and her daughter. They really went above and beyond to make our stay spectacular. The one bedroom apartment we rented was spacious, clean and comfortable. The apartment was split level with the main living space consisting of the kitchen, family room and full bathroom on the top floor and bedroom with another full bathroom downstairs. The kitchen had everything one would need to make a home cooked meal. The shared patio, pool and terrace was an added bonus (the views alone are postcard worthy). Strong wifi connection. The apartment is tastefully decorated with memories of Eleni's aunt, Aliki, that highlighted the Cypriot culture before modern times. A very quiet neighborhood adds to the serenity of the property. Easy, free street parking. Close proximity to the Akamas Peninsula National Forest, Latchi, and Polis. Our only regret is not booking longer than our four night stay.

My stay at Aliki’s House was nothing short of perfect! From the peace, views and quiet to the small, intricate details in the furnishings and the history of the home itself—you could feel the love and care that was put into its creation. Eleni was also a fantastic host, so generous with her time, knowledge and even a few treats! I’ve been raving about my stay here to so many of my friends and I hope to visit again one day. It was exactly what my soul needed!

The room was wonderful, very spacious and clean. The owner was extremely accommodating and made us feel right at home. Also she was hands-on with making sure that we comfortable and had everything we need. We will definitely be back again!

Aliki’s House exceeded all expectations! Located in Neo Chorio, a convenient spot for accessing the beach and amenities, the property offers breathtaking views of the surrounding AkamAs landscape and is super quiet. The owners went out of their way to welcome us and make the stay even more wonderful. We much appreciated the efforts and hard work put into renovating this traditional house as the attention to detail and aesthetic is evident everywhere! Well equipped kitchen and very spacious! Will certainly be back!

The house is warm and inviting, spotless, very well decorated, a blend of old and new, very comfy sofa with the perfect view of the mountains. This is the best place we stayed in the area by far, very close to the sea a three minute drive to the best beach at Latchi. We appreciated the welcome gifts too. A bonus room downstairs we ended up using, with double doors opening at the lower level by the pool. This place is so tranquil, I wish we stayeed for more days!We will definitely come back.

The house was very clean in a quiet location next to the beach (5min). I totally recommend this.

Everything was amazing. Elena, the hostess, was very welcoming, arranged for us to have snacks in the fridge and gave us suggestions for things to do, where to eat and so on. The place was spotless and quiet. Everything worked as it should. Excellent place and an excellent host!! Very close to the beach with amazing views of the near by hills.

There is nothing we didnt like.

Nothing can prepare you for just how wonderful this place is and the effort that has gone into building the perfect getaway destination we enjoyed it so much we booked a return trip before we left to go home .

The house and the garden are very lovely and cozy. It is located in the hills just 5 minutes from the sea. Neo Chorio is a beautiful village and has many trails to walk. Eleni is very friendly and helpfully. We would love to stay there again 🙂

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Aliki's House - upon arriving Eleni had not only prepared some sweet treats & a coffee but took me through the history of the renovation and her aunt's association with the property. A really beguiling introduction which was further demonstrated by a traditional house tastefully decorated with items of Cypriot origin, including antiques. I have a history with Cyprus as my sister use to live in Nicosia; as such, I have stayed in many types of accommodation, from basic holiday apartments, to 3 star hotels & villas and truly this experience felt the most authentic of them all. Eleni popped back twice with more delicious treats during my visit and really came across as a host who is genuinely interested in making your stay as welcoming and comfortable as possible. The personal touches just elevated the stay to something truly memorable. I cannot fault the beautifully tended garden and various tiered patio areas of both houses and the view right over to the Troodos Mountains was magnificent. Hearing the calls of scops owls every night was very magical indeed for someone who loves owls. And, as a whole the property was very quiet. I would overall recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in an authentic Cypriot house in a charming hillside village.

I have to mention the millipedes as there were a few in the house - I realise they are harmless and I suspect this was due to seasonal changes, or exceptional weather, as haven't noted it mentioned by any other guests. I've ummed and ahhed about mentioning it at all but it wouldn't be an honest review if I left that point out entirely. Maybe sprinkling a little Diatomaceous Earth (DE) would help to eliminate the problem as I use it to keep wood lice out of my home and it works wonders.

Eleni and her family are the perfect hosts who have created a little oasis with Aliki's House. From the moment we arrived and found treats waiting for us in the kitchen, we felt at home. The house was very clean, very quiet, and it had everything we needed. The view from the terraces was amazing and the location was very convenient. We would definitely visit again!

Beautiful property, the pictures really don’t do it justice! The views are amazing and Eleni really has thought of everything. Eleni is extremely welcoming and provides lots of local knowledge and tips for the areas, she also surprised us with some delicious sweat treats! We will be recommending this to all of our friends and family.
