Reviews of Alva Hotel Apartments

Our hotel room was on the 4th floor with great view to the pool and beach. It was a nice and pleasant stay. Fairly clean. Great location where you can right across the street go either right 4 min away from Fig Tree Bay Beach, or go left for maybe around 8 min away from Vrissiana beach. The street has many restaurants and shops. The Pizza Flox restaurant right under the hotel has great pizzas and drinks. It has a big pool and kids pool. The staff were friendly and helpful. Great stay for our family 😍

The kids pool was not always being cleaned on daily basis. The breakfast is okay but with not much variety (for 5 days in a row, you get the same buffet - watermelon, tomato and cucumber as if prepared from the day before). The shower in the room is not so practical: One door to either close the whole toilet or only the shower, u LL have to choose either or; and it leaks water to outside, you LL have to be careful how to stand and manage not messing the room. No place to hang the towels and bathrobe, u LL have to step out to get it. Kids could sneak peek inside the toilet 😩

Amazing hotel, very kind staff and great location!

The breakfast buffet could have more variety, but it’s not a big issue as it was good breakfast. Our shower drain clogged on our last night - probably from the sand, and the staff could not help as the maintenance staff are only there during the morning, so this was not very pleasant.

Room location , Noise when upstairs flushed the toilet or had a shower , smell of smoke from outside . We didnt moan because we was only there for 5 nights had we stayed longer i would have been disappointed. Not being able to keep the room on ... The shower facilities they provided are absolutely awful . Dirty full of bugs no holder for shower head , doors in ladies side either no locks or doors would not close , smelly. We come to Cyprus 2-3 times a year & stayed at the alva i think twice before & unfortunately because of the room. Location

Location is excellent - Short walking distance to Fig Tree Bay and on the main strip of Protaras

Pool area could use some upgrade but overall it was ok

Top location with everything you could imagine within walking distance, clean, excellent shower pressure, friendly staff.

Maybe the decor could have been a little better, could do with a little updating.

This is the 4th year in a row that we stayed at these hotel apartments. The staff is really friendly and welcoming. The position on the Protaras strip is super convenient and across the rd from Fig tree bay .

This year I did not book in advance and I’m not sure if this is the reason why we got a room in the older part of the hotel. I didn’t have an issue with that but the toilet seat was really old and stained.

The location is perfect, very close to the beach and to the center. The pool option was amazing for the kids.
