The kids pool was fantastic, as was the private beach. The kids club was incredible, my 4 and 5 year olds had a fantastic time.

The A/C wasn’t strong enough. We woke up warm at night. Also didn’t love that they discourage ordering food to the hotel. With kids that’s kind of a must.

We are a family of 4 children ages between 8&2. This was the first holiday in years I felt like we properly relaxed and did not want to come home. The food was incredible, the kids LOVED the kids club. The layout of the kids pool was perfect for us. It’s split in 2 with one side shallow for the toddlers and a deeper side with slides for the older kids. It meant everyone could have fun the same time. The hotel is not too big which we loved. They have play things on the beach and it was full of families and kids whilst also having quieter areas for adults only. The staff were so friendly, especially the hostess’ of the main dining area who went above and beyond to make my daughter (who can be incredibly overbearing) feel special and never a burden. Also just to add Michael who greeted us when we arrived (with no suitcases as the airline did not deliver them) was so friendly and just a lovely person! We have incredibly high standards and this ticked every box for us. Elegant & luxury, family friendly, on the beach and attentive friendly staff We will definitely be back

My only negatives is there is no evening entertainment (apart from Cyprus night which was great) but this did not bother us as after a whole day swimming and at the beach we were happy to go to bed early after dinner.

Great hotel. Staff is very nice, friendly. The food was excellent. Big room. The pools and the gardens are Wow. Kids club very nice. The stuff is very good. Everything was perfect!

The wifi was poor at some points.

The fact that you have a few different sweeming pools and restaurants.

The prices of the restaurants are super high. Even the basic one, the cocktails, the basic food, and even a small espresso, the location of this hotel is so far of any street marketing, so you basically have no option. If you decide to order food through Wolt , they won't let you sit with it in the lobby. There is not enough silence between the rooms, I could hear each walking above me or crying outside of my door. The internet is so low! I basically didn't have any Wifi besides the lobby. The breakfast was good, but it didn't change at all through the week we were here My conclusion is that it's a beautiful hotel but I won't be back here

The kids club, kids swimming pool, and the staff there are amazing and the reason why our kids and I have returned to the hotel. A kids and family friendly hotel overall.

We are returning customers and our stay at the hotel this time did not meet our expectations. A very specific incident at the restaurant involving a tiny worm crawling in my husband's plate while he started eating his salad, totally ruined the stay for us. How one returns to eat in that restaurant?

Staff from reception to breakfast waiters were friendly. Breakfast had a good variety. The shower bed and pillows comfortable.

The corridors of the hotel were noisy with children running up and down. The aircon didn't have temperature indicator and made a noise. Did not feel like I was staying in a 5 star hotel.

The hotel and room décor were absolutely beautiful, and the view of the sea from the room was breathtaking.

The cost of the stay was a bit expensive.

Our stay at the Amathus Hotel was exceptional from start to finish. The service was outstanding—especially at the bar with Sabine and at reception with Nicole, both of whom were professional, attentive, and made us feel incredibly welcome. It was a pleasure getting to know Sabine over the course of our stay. Breakfast was phenomenal—truly nothing was missing. We appreciated the thoughtful arrangement of separate lounges for families with children and for adults only, which made mornings relaxing for everyone. The kids club staff were incredibly warm and caring, making our children feel right at home. There are plenty of activities to keep the little ones entertained all day :) The hotel offers a variety of swimming pools, including ones with slides and a toddler pool, as well as quieter options for adults. We dined at the hotel’s Limanaki restaurant and were impressed by both the top-notch service and the delicious food—all right by the sea. As a special treat, we stayed in a suite with a private pool, and it was absolutely delightful. The entire experience was effortless, from the spacious and plentiful parking to the overall convenience of the hotel. This is a place truly worth staying at, and I would happily return again and again.

The only small hiccup was some drilling noise on Saturday morning around 8:30am. However, when we reported it to the reception, they responded immediately and professionally. We were told it was an external company that had started work outside the designated quiet hours by mistake. It was quickly addressed and never happened again. We truly appreciated how seriously the staff took our feedback.

Exceptionally Friendly Staff: Every member of the team was helpful, polite, and went out of their way to assist. Breakfast Buffet: A consistent yet satisfying variety of dishes every morning. Sweet Bar at Dinner: Always delightful, with dinner options generally enjoyable despite a few missed expectations. Facilities: Well-maintained and enjoyable, perfect for relaxation and family time. Beach: Clean and pleasant overall, offering a nice spot to unwind. Restaurant & Bar Variety: A wide selection of drinks and food at reasonable prices, especially compared to outside vendors.

Room Cleaning: Although room service occurred twice daily, the overlooked snack under the cabinet suggested a focus only on visible surfaces. Swimming Pool Setup: An indoor, freshwater pool would enhance the experience, especially for families looking to avoid all-day sun exposure in the saltwater outdoor pool. Broken Glass on Beach: A single incident, but worth noting for safety reasons. Excursions: Trips to the old town and My Mall didn’t live up to expectations and were costly in terms of taxi fares (around 30 euros each way).

First of all, the hotel area, rooms and pool are very clean, room service is twice a day. The breakfast is very good ( can be refreshed more than that ). Also the dinner buffet was good ( each day different kitchen ). The kids club and the staff are great, 6 girls were working at the same time in the kids club !!

Didn't like that in dinner i need to pay to drink water ( not sure why 5 start hotel do that ). Also, the dinner buffet can have more options.

Giorgio’s gave us a free upgrade and the room was amazing and will definitely come back the next time I’m in Cyprus

Everything was more than perfect. The hotel, the breakfast and especially the staff that smiles all the time and say thank you almost every second
