How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewNewly build, isolated location, as promised for its purpose.
The house has everything you need to cook, but you have to take supplies (apart from breakfast) with you, since the nearest supermarket and restaurant are a bit of a drive away.

Verified reviewPerfectly secluded in the mountains of Troodos, close to the village of Tris Elies. Closest restaurant is around 15 mins away. There are a few wooden cabins (I think 4 in total) so it's quite private. Check-in and Check-out were smooth. Hosts provided us with breakfast essentials although we did not expect it (very nice of them). The wooden cabin has pretty much everything (e.g. little portable stove, kitchenette, fridge). There is a BBQ area and a picnic area.
Nothing honestly, everything met our expectations!

Verified reviewAmazing experience. House surrounded by forest, in the middle of nowhere, the real escape.
Wasps)) Would be great to have a net on the door also, cause there are lots of wasps. So you can’t leave the door open during the day. Only one house has a special tent, covering chairs outside, so no chance to have breakfast outside without the wasps company.

Verified reviewI liked the location of the cabins on a hillside amongst the fruit trees and pine trees, a short distance from the village of Treis Elies. It is very quiet and peaceful. Even when the other cabins have guests, it feels private and quiet. There is a large common BBQ area, if you like to grill, or you can prepare a simple meal in your cabin using a small gas stove. The bathroom and kitchenette are modern, very clean, and provide the basic necessities. It's very enjoyable to relax or have your breakfast on the little private deck or in one of the hammocks if you're staying on the upper level cabins. Overall, Bosco Paradiso offers a unique experience in the mountains of Troodos.
My only negative comment is that the mattress was uncomfortable for me, as it was on the hard side, but that's a personal preference. Also, there are a few large items of trash below the property that are visible from the decks, which should be removed and taken to a proper dumpster.

Verified reviewWe stayed for 2 nights, i wish we could have stayed for more, such an amazing place. The wooden chalets were so cozy and the tranquility of the place was amazing. We had everything we needed. Our stay was outstanding and our host Giota was there to meet our needs, she helped us with anything we needed, lovely lady. We will definetly visit again soon.

Verified reviewQuiet place, real nature. All the little house at our disposal. Products for breakfast are already in the fridge. Plenty of coffee, tea, sugar, jam, milk. Dishes, cutlery, additional blankets, pillows, towels. Gas oven, gas heater, fridge, air conditioner. With the AC it was warm (although it was raining those days). Warm water in shower. Birds' songs. Very clean rooms and the toilet. If we had known that before, we could bring meat as there is a special barbecue place near the hotel. A hammock was super.
1. quite difficult road on its last part to the hotel - may be because of the rain. No question to the hotel staff, for sure. 2. no night light present: so either we had the absolute darkness after sunset or only the very bright ceiling lights. That is not a great problem but a little inconvenience.

Verified reviewThe location is great, quiet and relaxing!
The "kitchen" in the small cabin is not equipped for cooking (even for something like pasta for example) and thus if we wanted to stay for more than one night that would be difficult.

Verified reviewBeautiful location
The room wasn’t cleaned properly as we found several spiderwebs in the bathroom and the room it self we also found a scorpion on our bed which made our stay very uncomfortable the moment we opened the door to the room we could smell gas we quickly figured out that it was from the gas heater as it was left turned on and we had to fix that as well on the upper right corner of the room above the bed there is a gap between the ceiling and the wall allowing both wind and rain to come In as well as sunlight the quality of the towels sheets and anything else in the room is very poor definitely an overpriced facility will not be returning there far more superior facilities in the area

Verified reviewThe chalets age generally nice and cosy
Gas heater was extremely smelling. Also, lack of oxygen(it burned during the night) and extra CO2 might be a bit dangerous, don't you think so? 😀 There's also a trouble with water heater. It was either boiling hot or extremely cold, there's no something in-between
