Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

CyprusThere were a lot of issues with the house, and the management didn't seem to care. -Firstly, the chairs in the kitchen/dining room were in very bad condition, almost destroyed. Nothing like what we saw in the pictures. -Also, the outdoor chairs for the table by the pool were not enough for all guests. -The living room sofa was not comfortable, it felt broken. -The pool wasn't properly cleaned. -The mattresses were not comfortable, especially for the double beds. Most of us had trouble sleeping. -Before we arrived, we asked if there was a BBQ and BBQ equipment we could use, and the answer was yes. However, when we arrived, we found the equipment (grills, etc.) very dirty, so we couldn't use them. -Regarding the hosts/management, they continuously avoided responding to our complaints and didn't take any actions. Even though the house had potential, our experience was very disappointing, and I wouldn't recommend this place.

United KingdomPlease do not book this villa. We arrived in the early hours to find the villa was in an extremely poor condition and there was no running water. Two bedrooms have large areas of black mould. The air conditioning units are poorly maintained and leak. After 10 minutes of use, there are huge puddles form on the floor. They also run water so close to electrical outlets that it extremely hazardous. The beds and bedlinen provided were in a dire condition, heavily soiled, misshapen mattresses. To add to the above, during our 8 hours at the villa, there was no water available. This meant we couldn't shower, clean our teeth or flush the toilets. We contacted both Booking.com and the agent Local Host within 30 minutes of arrival to request that the issues were resolved or we were allocated to another villa for our holiday. Local Host, did not respond to any of our emails or WhatsApp messages during this first day, other than to send a message at 4pm to say their maintenance team were at the villa. Unfortunately when we returned to the villa they had not been bothered to wait. We then waited a further 2 hours for the maintenance team to return. At 8pm we had no alternative and had to find alternative accommodation for that night. Clearly after 36 hours without a shower, we we were beginning to struggle with our personal hygiene needs. We then spent another day in contact with booking.com and attempting to contact Local Host to arrange alternative accommodation or a refund. After another night in an alternative villa, we had to book another villa, as Local Host had the audacity to say we had been unresponsive. Please do check alternative sights and google for reviews about Local Host, based in Larnaca. Even on this site, positive reviews have been left by guests who have stayed 1 or 2 nights and are resident in Cyprus. Maybe, just maybe Local Host are attempting to alter their feedback scores. Four weeks since our return, we are still trying to get a refund.
Please do not book. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

CyprusThe price was very high and i had no other choice but pay it. Also there is a 300€ temporary deposit fee for potential damages which is a little too much especially if you are stays for 1 night like us. The pool had some leaves which we cleaned but it is understandable.
Overall it was a very good villa but the price is very high. There is a BBQ place near the pool with all the necessary equipment.
