Lovely, cosy and very clean apartment. Had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. It was nicely designed and decorated. It is in the centre of Pano Platres, just above the Starlight restaurant. Would highly recommend.

The Cosy Mountain Apartment was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. It offers a stunning view of the mountains and is perfectly located—Pano Platres is an ideal base for exploring the Troodos region. The apartment is situated right next to a vibrant and lively restaurant, as well as the starting point of the Milomeris Waterfall hiking trail. It’s also just a few meters away from one of the village’s few parking areas, which was very convenient. We stayed for four nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time. We highly recommend this place!

Liked: The location was great – peaceful, with fresh mountain air and a pleasant coolness. We especially enjoyed the atmosphere of the place – cozy and authentic. Disliked: Unfortunately, the indoor air was heavily affected by the fireplace smoke – the entire room, including the furniture, was filled with the smell, which made it necessary to ventilate constantly to avoid headaches. Also, there was no sound insulation at all – noises from the upper floor were even louder downstairs, and the wooden floors creaked very loudly.

It was cold on the 1st evening, although at our arrival, the air-conditioning units were started by the owner. But later we'd to restart them and then they worked well.

There is no central heating, and since we were traveling in February, the apartment was quite cold. However, each room has an air conditioner, which helped us warm it up. If you're traveling with kids in winter, be prepared for the cooler temperatures.

The host was very friendly and helpful, guiding us over the phone, which made everything go smoothly. The apartment is located in the same yard as the Skylight restaurant, which was very convenient. It is fully equipped with all kitchen appliances and even has a fireplace.

Although the flat was clean, the freezer had built up quite a lot of ice and some frozen food had been left in there, presumably by previous guests. This wasn't a problem for us but we think it should have been removed. The duvet was clean and but had marks on it (perhaps laundry marks) and perhaps ought to have been replaced. Entry was by keypad, the passcode for which is set remotely by the host. This is fine in principle but the door did not always open on first attempt and once required three attempts. Again, it is not objectively a problem but is slightly unnerving. The price felt a little high for a couple but is probably reasonable value for a family given the quality of the accommodation (including a very large and attractive second, loft bedroom).

Excellent location, easy parking within a few metres of property, attractively decorated, good facilities provided (good WIFI, large TV (albeit not used), good collection of plates, utensils, hob, oven, microwave, kettle etc). The host was helpful and keen to make sure that we knew where everything was; and was kind enough to let us stay past the stated 12:00 departure time, which we greatly appreciated. Although we brought our own washing up liquid, tea towels etc with us, it was good to see that the host had also provided these. There was ample storage. The apartment is also next door to a pretty good restaurant - a bonus.

Room heating didn't work (or we didn't know how to make it work). Had already contacted owner for other things before and didn't want to bother him again with this as it wasn't really required. Slept well without it Very nice apt but not that big. Kitchen table takes a lot of space.

Such a lovely apartment! Everything was great! 2d floor is perfect for children (with toys:). kitchen is fully equipped. Great location with an amazing view.
