We loved the pool and the size of the patio around itl, 8 sun loungers 2 patio sets so plenty of room to sit and sunbathe or sit/lay in shade under umbrellas. Close to Fig Tree Bay Beach and restaurants.

The property neighboured a hotel that played very loud disco music until at least midnight, sometimes later. We weren't aware that we would be overlooked by hotel balconies and have this noise disturbance to a relaxing holiday. Air conditioning unit in downstairs bedroom and front twin bedded rooms was poor so these rooms were very hot. Outside the raffata umbrellas are very tatty and some attention to maintenance outside is needed. We suffered the whole of the first morning with next door having their conifers and shrubs cut back with petrol cutters so was very noisy and smelly. They did clear up the cuttings that came over to our side when we asked. We had no knives in the cutlery drawer. No Hairdryer or washing up liquid as was confirmed we would. This was swiftly addressed by the host.

Very close to everything, clean, everything you need within the villa

The pillows were uncomfortable, but apart from that the stay was very pleasant

This is our 3rd, very happy, family holiday to the Jason 8 Villa (in May). The good size rooms, a private pool, and the excellent location near to the beach and restaurants are the main benefits for us as a family. The Protaras resort is relatively quiet in May but everything seems open, if in a slight maintenance phase. We took a trip to the Aiya Napa waterpark for a day. Other than that, the villa and the beautiful Fig Tree Bay beach front offered us plenty of entertainment for my 2 & 4 year olds.

The negatives are really a year on year comparison. I can see some elements of the villa are not being maintained to a high standard. The beds are super uncomfortable, they really need mattress toppers! The garden shades need repairing, there are some random tiles that need repairing outside (one is a particular trip hazard), not all rooms have keys (annoying when you have children in the group that just open any door). We couldn't figure out how to lift the gate barrier to let our taxi into the road. Some appliances had a European plug, while Cyprus uses the UK 3-pin plugs (as we are from the UK, we did not have any adapters). Nothing that would stop me going back again, just stops it being a 5 star review.

Great location a few hundred meters away from both shops, restaurants and beach. Fantastic communication throughout, great service provided with the transfers too (Both Andreas and Mr Kostas were really helpful) Very responsive team available if needed. Big pool which we all made good use of.

The property is slightly more dated than the pictures suggest but still good. The rooms of the hotel at the rear look directly into the pool which you can't quite see from pictures but there's nothing you can do about that and it didn't bother us. I would suggest painting the rear wall next to the pool as it brings the pool area down slightly.

Location was excellent, really close to the beach -and the strip with shops, pubs and restaurants.

Property is a little more dated than the pictures suggest. Also the air con is on a weird timer which means it switches off even when you don’t want it to.

The location of this villa is fantastic and the size of the villa is fantastic we are a family of 8. Just a 2 minute walk to the beach. The company who look after the villa are fantastic at communicating with you and if we were the owners of the villa I would be really impressed with the service however this leads to why we had a really bad holiday and will advise people not to book with them and we live in Cyprus so it saddens us that we won't use the villa again as it's fantastic.

On arrival our villa wasn't ready and we turned up 30 minutes after check in, then we couldn't enjoy our evening due to constant flashing lights. The guest relations came round we pointed out the problems as we asked if we had spotted anything and we felt we had to do this so we wouldn't be charged for any damage. We did say several times that we were not bothered by the issues but would like a kettle which we was impressed came later that day. So first evening wasn't good. Second day started off good then we was interrupted by workmen fixing the outside light and they were constantly going in and out the house for about 3 hours it also made us feel really uncomfortable as we were trying to get showered and dressed for the evening ( no locks on any doors) so that wasn't good but we thought oh well we can enjoy the evening and have a good day the next day. We did say due to the constant flashing light and the villa not being ready can we have a late check out and the company agreed. We was over the moon with this and thought we would have a great day the next day. Well this was the worst day of all from 10am we was told we could not use the pool, trying to keep 4 children entertained and the WiFi being turned off was a nightmare as understandably they and us wanted to use the pool and just relax. We couldnt use it for 4 and half hours when they left the kids were over the moon to finally get it in. 5 minutes later a women turns up to clean the pool which is lovely but at the same time very annoying. I messaged the company and they said lights in homes go out and jobs need done which I agree with but surly this should be done when it's not occupied by guests. We paid €1350 for 3 days and not 1 of those days we could relax. Even on our day going home which was good as we had the late check out another workman turned up. To be honest due to how bad this service was I would actually expect some sort of compensation.

This is our second stay at the villa because it is so perfect for us and our family. The location is great, near the beach, shops and restaurants, but enclosed in a private road so no disturbances. The staff are very friendly and helpful, we really appreciate the welcome visit the morning after check-in to see how everything is. We needed a better stairgate and there was a problem with the coffee machine, both were replaced that day. The rooms are spacious and it was clean and tidy on arrival.

The beds are not very comfortable, they need a mattress topper please! And maybe some plastic plates bowls and cups for outside as no glass is allowed near the pool.

The property had plenty of facilities to ensure our stay was comfortable. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were a really good size. The living area large and perfect for a big family/group. The pool area was great, with plenty of sun loungers. There was a big table for dining outside and a bbq/outside kitchen area. The villa is in the perfect location. It’s a short 2/3 min walk to the beach, 2 min walk to a shop and plenty of bars/restaurants a short walk away. Andreas and his wife were really helpful. And always on hand to help arrange transfers to and from the airport, along with taxis throughout our stay. We would highly recommend staying here and will definitely be back.

Location, facilities, cleanliness, convenient, very friendly staff, no complications etc etc

Slippery tiles at pool entrance. Occasional sharp surfaces in pool surroundings. Too few hooks in the villa to hang jackets & other items.

Excellent villa with great facilities within. Close to Fig Tree Beach and local bars and restaurants.

The main bathroom upstairs was quite small and narrow. Considering this was the 'main' shower room it was smaller than the en-suite in the master bedroom.

Layout and position of the villa was fabulous.

A couple of minor things where part of the grill around the pool was missing and one of the loungers was broken but apart from that we loved it and would definitely book again.
