Fantastic location in quiet Pomos, relaxed atmosphere, very nice sea view. Pomos is small there are three restaurants one supermarket and it was all we needed. Nice Dragon Cave beach however 2 km walk was required. Apartment itself is not far from bus stop and there is a possibility to make round day trip to Polis by bus, download bus schedule and it can be done. If you drive very convenient. In Polis you can switch to another bus short ride and you are in Latsi taking a boat to blue lagoon or you can go further to Afrodite Baths then enjoy swimming in Green Lagoon. Apartment itself is extremely spacious and comfortable, nice kitchen. Apartment usually gets cooler after sunset due to sea breeze. Fruit trees around you, you are allowed to get some figs mangoes. To sum up it was very relaxing time much better comparing to other touristy overcrowded places. No big hotels, hectic traffic, real peaceful town.

The shore is a short walk away, but not signposted and on the other side of the main road. So, not accurate to describe this property as 'beach-front".

The apartment is well situated, easy to find, spacious and well-equipped - a perfect base from which to explore the west of Cyprus.

Very minor comments (mostly subjective): - the color of the light in the living room is extremely white - not very comfy to sit with in the evening -basic tea or coffee could be provided

Great stay and a lovely host. Even though the sea is a bit far, you still have an amazing panoramic view. Extra points for the orange / lemon trees at the drive way - fresh fruit every day :)

If I was nit picking, we didn't get a transfer to the Airport as there was no shuttle, it was minor, but it does say on the booking you can get a shuttle.

The location was close to where I needed to be, the Host was great, very willing and helpful.

We spent our mornings going for a swim in the local beach riding the free bicycles provided by the host and eating fresh fruit from the trees by the house. We got around the winding roads with a car and hiked along the mountainsides. The combination of mountains by the sea was breathtaking. Host was very welcoming and accomodating to all our needs. If you want to feel the local charm and avoid touristy places then Pomos and Joanna's Apartments are the places to be.

The location is amazing!A beautiful place,peaceful surrounded by fruit trees on a hill with sea view.You enjoy the sigh of the sunset on the roof top as the beauty of the mountains meeting the sea. The accommodation is clean,comfortable with a very welcoming host! Definitely will be back in the future!

It was soooo wonderful!! The host is super friendly, helpful and so respectful!! He helps me always whenever I need anything and he is literally answering immediately whenever I ask for something.. It was super easy to check in and he welcomed us in an exceptional way I did not have before!! I was also sick a bit and he told us where we could go for the nearest hospital and even after leaving and checking out, he contacted me to ask if I'm good now or now Thank You very much for everything!!! :):) Highly recommended

Joanna Sunset Apartments was a fabulous place to stay in Pomos. Set beside a quiet olive grove with views to the sea on two sides, the 2 bedroom apartment was modern, well equipped and spacious. Location is the best if you want to have a peaceful, quiet and relaxed holiday or "workation" in Cyprus. In Joanna Sunset Apts there is a fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, possibility to sunbathe on the roof or chill out on the balcony and watch the sunset from there. From the apartment you can walk or drive to closest supermarket or restaurant. It is also possible to rent a car or borrow a bike from the host. Bus stop is 1 min from the house. There is a nice little harbour in Pomos in case you like to fish, and there is also a nice pebble beach there. A bigger town Polis with a wonderful old town, popular restaurants, fish markets, butchery, and a bigger supermarket is just 20 minutes away by car. The most important thing about the stay - the host of Joanna Sunset Apts is a real Host, he will make sure that you as a guest will have everything you need and you will feel the most welcome and taken care of. Fresh fruit were offered on the arrival and a bottle of cold water was in the fridge. It was very interesting to talk to the Host and get to know more about local traditions and history. You never get this kind of info when you stay in a big impersonal hotel. The neighbourhood is very quiet and peaceful, no one will disturb your holidays or work with loud music etc. In the mornings, you will hear roosters, though, and the donkey :) The neighbourhood is authentic, no big developer villas around. Just locals there in November. Water in the sea was 25 degrees. We had a very, very nice time over there.

Everything is just perfect! The host is so amazing friendly. He even met us at bus stop and brought to the apartments by car. He gave us another lift by car when we went for hike at 5am, he is super nice and super helpful!!!

Unfortunately the view was obstructed with equipment, the location is some distance from the sea and very limited facilities for essential household goods require transport. Cold water shower on last morning.

The property wasn't so clean, very dirty fridge, drainer and some places inside of cupboard, drawers. Pillows and mattress wasn't comfortable at all.
