The room was very spacious and the bed very comfy. It was very clean and a great combination of traditional and modern. It has everything a couple needs for a quick and relaxing gateway. You can go for a walk in the traditional village that starts right outside the room door.Its very close to a small tavern with great food and some walking away (or driving ) from a winery/restaurant which you can taste their own wine. The village is generally quiet. 2km away is Palaihori which is a bigger village and has everything that you might need. Elena sent instructions for everything (even how to find out room and the number of steps I had to do.) Thanks a lot!

It's a nice place to relax for a week-end, especially for those seeking peace, quietness and rural landscape. Lovely little village to explore... It was our second time there and felt like home. The host was very helpful and kind. Totally recommend this place!

Parking was definitely a challenge. You also need to be aware that you will likely need to visit nearby villages for any groceries or food (which may close early). No food delivery etc so come prepared! It might be worth for the hotel owners to consider having a small shop with the essentials and maybe a few food choices within the hotel? Or at least a vending machine. We would definitely appreciate it! With regard to the bathroom fireplace, we were told that we’d be provided with enough fuel to last for 2hrs and we’d have to purchase more fuel if we wanted to extend this. This was not the case as it barely lasted for 20minutes. That was fine for us, but could frustrate others. Breakfast was understandably limited as this is a small property, but given the price I would definitely like to see the fried eggs (poached eggs available on the first day but not the second) and maybe a few more options, did miss the sweeter breakfast options too (loved the bread though!). I was also a bit disappointed to be told that we couldn’t take some of the breakfast to our room on our last day. We had to skip breakfast to finish packing on time for the checkout. Of course our bad time management wasn’t the hotel’s fault, but it would be nice to be allowed to grab a bite in the room since it was mostly finger food anyway (sliced meats, veg, cheese, bread, spreads etc). Lastly, although the room was clean overall, the sofa was quite stained as per previous reviews so we did carry a throw of our own. The low lighting helped hide this.

Great overall for a break away from the city to recharge!Clean and comfortable room (and bed!) with all the amenities needed, from the tv, to a small fridge, nice fireplace, espresso machine (although this would only pour water initially, but worked after a few tries), kettle, mugs and WINE GLASSES (plus a bottle opener!), hair drier, extra blankets, toilet paper, pillows plus cozy bath robes and slippers. Good water temperature as well. Staff was happy to answer any questions and help. Also appreciated the easy check in. Loved the guide book left in the room, although it did mention including a map which was not there. A very cozy and relaxing vibe in general, though locking that type of door was certainly an adventure haha.

When we arrived the room was pitch black and very cold. Tip: open the shutters before guests arrive. Makes it more welcoming and maybe the room would have been warmer. Took a long time to heat it up and it wasn't even that cold outside. I imagine the smaller, brighter rooms are easier to warm up. Lighting in the room was poor and in general, the room needs a little maintenance. Also, the green couch was quite grubby (the poor lighting hides a lot) - we put a sheet on it before being able to relax on it! Bathroom could do with a better towel rail to dry towel between use.

The breakfast was fine. Not many choices (bread, pre-sliced cheese, ham, olives, almonds, bowl of fruit etc) but the lady there happily fried us some eggs on request. More options would have been nice. The room is lovely and feels quite luxurious as does the bathroom and the jacuzzi. Comfortable bed. The location of Lyhnos is great; we loved this sleepy village. It seems undiscovered and unspoilt. We really liked the local restaurant 'steki tis parathosis': great food and atmosphere, 3 minute walk from hotel. We went to Pernia for wine tasting and lunch. Lovely wine, food and host. The experience could do with a little updating. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

I cannot rate this place highly enough! Firstly the village is picturesque and the views from our room and terrace were phenomenal. The rooms are of a high standard including the spectacular bathroom (I highly recommend making time for a jacuzzi bath!). And it had all the amenities we needed like tea and coffee making stuff. Lovely breakfast too. The staff went out of their way to help us and make the stay extra special. I would definitely head back!

We generally enjoyed our accommodation there, the only thing the pillows were a bit hard and uncomfortable for our taste but once we mentioned it, the lady took a note of it to have more options available in the near future.

Beautiful decorated , modern place but they also kept the traditional touch. We loved the view from the room and the balcony and we enjoyed the jacuzzi we had in our suite. Friendly staff at the breakfast area, nice graphical area. Would definitely recommend this

The lighting in the room could be improved, as it appeared rather dim even with all the ceiling lights turned on. Brighter bulbs might help. Additionally, the Wi-Fi signal was not very stable.

Such a nice spot in the heart of Ascas village. We were glad to spend the weekend here. The room was clean and cozy, and we especially loved the bathroom with its great view of the mountains.

The lunch/dinner food options in the village are limited, and non-existent during the week. So be prepared to drive 10-15 minutes to nearby villages for these things.

The location is perfect if you are looking for quiet and solitude. Breakfast is amazing, and staff are friendly. Abundant hiking and nature viewing.
