Hot tub was not available as advertised, no clean bedding after 7 day stay as advertised and oven extraction fan not working (doors open to ventilate when cooking allowing the cats to come in)!!!

Location was perfectly peaceful, perfect host/owner Andreas was attentive and a pleasure to know. I property that I would be proud to own!

Only down side was the very cold pool. but it was fine once you were used to it.

Amazing! The property was clean and well kept. It was huge and had a lovely bbq and swings. The pool was huge and very deep, however it was VERY COLD. I recommend paying extra to have it heated. the owner was so friendly, we even had a bbq with him and his wife on one of the nights. Very lovely people living near by. I recommend trying ‘koullas’. It’s a Lunch shop about a 10 minute walk towards pomos and has spectacular views.

We were ok as we hired a car but as it’s in the middle of nowhere walking anywhere is out of the question. On here it says 200m to beach (it is as the bird flies but you cannot get to it in 200m and it’s not a nice beach) it also says 400m to bars and restaurants, we found the nearest decent place to eat was a 2 hour walk and the nearest supermarket about the same, booking.com says 1.5k. We didn’t mind as we are animal lovers but there are also 8 cats that live at the villa and they will beg for food, also 2 dogs that visit everyday, friendly enough but just be aware

Lovely villa if a bit dated, Andreas the host very nice man, really quiet location so need a car. Lovely pool. More or less everything you need.

The decor and furniture was very dated! Beds were basic and mattresses old and uncomfortable!

The location and the pool! Nice and peaceful, lovely surrounding gardens. Huge pool! The cat family that lived in the garden ❤️

    1. Extra money for A/C in living room (There were 2 A/C of which one was broken) 2. A/C in Main Bedroom broke down during our stay, and although they couldn't fix it, there was no refund for it. 3. The mattresses on all beds are old and not suitable for a good nice rest. Suggestion to change them asap. 4. The cost of the property could be more equal to the provided ammenities, or the house could be equipped with more comfortable ammenities

Excellent location Private pool House is with full amenities (but old) Ideal property for families Barbecue facilities Very nice hoster

Absolutely nothing to report here. I wish I was still there!!!

We stayed at Marilena Sunset Villa 1 for 10 nights and it was absolutely beautiful. It was very private and ideal if you are after a quiet & peaceful holiday. You definitely need a hire car though as it is a little bit secluded and a bit of a distance from any shop or bar. The villa was spotlessly clean on arrival and it catered for all of our needs. The host, Andreas was a lovely man too. The villa provided perfect views of the sea and the beautiful sunsets that Cyprus has to offer. There are a few stray cats that hang around the villa, but they did not pose a problem at all as they were surprisingly friendly. I would highly recommend this beautiful villa and I will definitely be looking to book again for next year 😊

Nice villa but needs some tlc

The gardens were overgrown so trees hung over seating area. We had to sit under the trees for any shade as there was no parasols. unfortunately it was harvest time and the olives just kept falling. We only got to use the pool 3 days out of 14. The pump was broken and water level too low meaning the pool was really dirty. The cushions on sunbeds were disgustingly dirty and the sun beds need some tlc. The kitchen has everything you need apart from pots, pans and cooking utensils. The disabled/mobility facilities are not really facilities. It's great having everything on the downstairs level but the bathroom needs extra safety. There is one handrail in shower and rails at the toilet. The downfall is everything is ceramic tiles and they get extremely slippy. I actually fell and broke my nose, broke my teeth and had 2 black eyes. So please take care. There is about 8 cats that hang around so you can't leave doors or windows open. Any chance they get, they come in.

The area around the villa is so peaceful and relaxing. The villa could be beautiful but has been neglected. Andreas, the owner, was friendly and even picked us fresh oranges and pomegranates from the garden
