Charming little gem in the heart of Kakopetria! This quaint lodge is perfectly located in the beautiful old town of Kakopetria—an ideal base for exploring the village. The breakfast was simple but delicious, and the service throughout our stay was warm and attentive. The lodge is decorated, showcasing elements of Cypriot heritage—such as stone walls, wooden beams, crochet and rustic furnishings—while still providing the essentials for a relaxing stay. Maritsa makes a great frappe!! Kakopetria itself is a must-visit, full of character and charm. The village has excellent restaurants serving mouthwatering traditional Cypriot dishes. A special highlight for families is the local village swimming pool run by a lovely lady called Maro —spacious, clean, and very well maintained. The food there is fantastic, and the staff are just as friendly and helpful. A perfect spot for a relaxing day with the kids!

The pillows were very bad and the bed was quite firm. Our room was right under another room and we could hear the other guests when trying to sleep.

The location is great! Probably the best spot in Kakopetria. The place is traditional with nice views.

The mattress was too soft and needed replacement A/C was making a noise The wooden roof was making noises (cracking) during the night, probably from temperature changes

I would have liked reading lamps by the bed and more space to put our toiletries in the spacious bathroom. This time, we didn't have the time of inclination to watch TV, but if we come again in the winter, it would be good to have a larger and Smart TV. The rooms had nice old wood furniture but looked a bit bare - some colourful textiles or pictures on the walls would lift the ambience.

Situated in a renovated traditional house, the place is packed with charm. Our hostess, Mrs. Maritsa, is charming and helpful. Breakfast was simple, but ample and tasty. There is free parking about 100 meters away, as the place is in the old part of the village between the two rivers and not accessible to cars. We could hear the river flowing below our window - beautiful and close to nature.

This hotel is in the old part of Kakopetria which is an amazing place to visit. The site itself is spread in the private territory which is very nicely decorated , the views are gorgeous! The room felt very clean, bed linen fresh, bathroom also very clean (with bathtub), room equipped with a fridge, kettle, dishes.

GPS lead us to a totally different location, so it tolk us quite some time to find the place (responsive host!) and get checked in. The room was different than the one booked, about 100m away, but with a parking right in front. Very small room with a loud mini refrigerator. Basic breakfast, some fruit would be nice.

Pretty much nothing.

It's on a cute old street in Kakopetria, easy walking distance to the center. The rooms and houses are spotless and so traditionally charming. Maria, the owner, is a sweetheart and super helpful. And the breakfast is also very good. Perfect for families and couples.

A lovely breakfast and very pleasant staff. The rooms had all we needed including a fridge and crockery and glassware. Sitting on the little terrace outside our room in the evening was lovely.

The fridge's electric outlet was fidgety at best, so we did not use it nor try to get it on (we were staying just for one night). The doors are small so we ran into them xouple of times... but that is on us.

Rustic home in the Old Town of Kakopetria is unique and a special place to stay and experience the local spirit. The room was spacious.

The location, the views, the staff, the peace & quiet, the village, the river.. everything was magnificent. I can't recommend it enough. It's perfect for a romantic getaway or a family holiday. The location and the village are spectacular, and staying here really felt like home. This is an authentic Cypriot experience.
