Reviews of Mythical Sands Resort - Maria

To apply a little context we made our booking at very very short notice. A family member fell ill and we needed find alternative accommodation 3 hrs prior to our departure flights. Both amazingly and gratefully these guys stepped up!! From the moment of meeting Maria to the ease of leaving the property, the only way to sum up our stay is.. Wow.. Amazing!!. The apartment has absolutely everything you could possibly need, a very greatly received bowl of fruit, milk and juice in the fridge along with a plentiful supply of Water, Tea and Coffee. On the complex there are 3+ pools a gym and a great coffee bar. There is nothing that this team don’t think of, if I had one criticism it could only be that our family member got discharged and we had to come home!! The apartment was spotlessly clean, in a great area with shops, bars and restaurants no more the 2 minutes walk away.

Nice spacious apartment in a resort complex. We enjoyed the apartment, and the possibility to wash and cook. There are 3 pools at the resort. We tried 2 and they were great. When we arrived we were greeted by Maria who showed us around and explained alot about the apartment. We found the communication with the host to work well.

The apartment is on the fringe of the resort complex, and unfortunately we didnt get much sleep the first night due to noisy neighbours on the balcony directly outside our bedroom. Also some dishwasher tabs and oven gloves would have been nice.

The apartment had everything you would need for your stay. It was clean and spacious. The complex has three swimming pools, and they were all clean and well-maintained. The apartment is within walking distance of two beaches (Malama and Kaparis), which are a bit small but very nice and scenic. I recommend renting a car and visiting places like Blue Lagoon, Kalamies Beach, and Ayia Napa.

Ioannis's welcome was warm, friendly and very helpful. He welcomed via a FaceTime call upon arrival. He answered any questions regarding the facilities at the resort, and also gave insighful information on local restaurants and shops. He was always there for any further questions via iMessage/text or a call if needed, and at the same time never intrusive. The apartment itself was clean and spacious and had all that anybody would need, including all kitchen appliances, washing machine etc. The homemade gifts from his family, delivered personally by Ioannis's sister, were a lovely extra touch. The family genuinely care about their visitors.

The property had everything you could need. A real home from home feel.

The tv didn’t have many channels but then again, we didn’t go on holiday to watch tv. Maybe if you have same children , then they would maybe want more channels.

Very good apartment for a family stay. The residential complex itself is top class! Grocery stores, nice restaurants, Kapparis beach pretty close to the place. Though you need to have a car if you plan to stay at that location.

The host could have responded a bit quicker, that would've saved us some money when we had an emergency.

It has a great location and very clean. Separate parking and security. Elevator, 2 pools to use and fully equipped kitchen. Maria, who showed us around, is a lovely lady and we wish her well.

The only piece of furniture in the living room was a sofa that was extremely uncomfortable and unusable.
