How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewThe apartment is spacious and well-located, just a short walk from two beautiful beaches, which was a definite highlight. The kitchen was well equipped, and having two bathrooms was convenient. There’s also a good amount of storage space, which is great for longer stays. Communication with the host was great, as he met us on arrival and showed us around.
A few things affected the overall experience. While it’s not the host’s fault, the apartment is near a lively boulevard with bars and discos, so there was noticeable noise at night, especially on weekends. Additionally, there was ongoing construction on the roof of the neighboring building, which not only reduced privacy but also brought early-morning noise that made it hard to fully relax.
Thanks for the constructive comments. Next door construction work will be over very soon. Matter was discussed with responsible person! I just expected a better rating on LOCATION to be in line with comments made!!

Entrance to apt was very tired and dirty especially lift. Apt was ok could have been cleaner, balconies very tiny. Showers kept blocking, en-suite shower extremely tiny. An extra set of keys would be a bonus especially if you have 4 adults staying

Verified reviewLocation and view.... spectacular! Beautiful sunrise to view from bed. Great appartment, very well devided, fully equipped kitchen, clean. Comfy beds and sofa. The greatestet thing upon our arrival was the view and the cold beer in the fridge! We also had complimentary cold water, soda and some crackers. We found adaptors for our electronic devices which was great, there's a stender as well. A good feature is the washing machine with washing pods at disposal. We had an awesome stay! We would love to come back! Thank you!
A suggestion for the next rennovation: try to place the air conditioning ao that it doesn't blow towards the head direction. This is an issue for hot nights when you need to have the AC on. And another suggestion would be to put a rack in the shower to place the shampoo/shower gel and add some shower gel as a free toiletry. I only got shampoos 🙃 Either way..... the view made me forget all these things!

Verified reviewWe liked everything about our stay, Costas the owner met us at the apartment and showed us round, he could not have been more helpful. The apartment was as discribed and had great views of the Pool and Sea, beds were very comfortable and the whole place was very very clean. On departure Costas came and treated us to a drink while we waited for our transport. The whole experience was wonderful.
The “wonderful experience” statement, somehow doesn’t correspond to a 7.5 marking, but never mind and I wish Martin and his family, all the best. But to set the record straight while waiting for the 3 guests’ taxi I offered and paid 9 drinks for them, with all my heart asking nothing in return, as I considered it to be an “obligation” on my part, as a “thank you” to my guests. If and when they decide to come again they are welcome and my hospitality is granted, in spite of any reviews!

Verified reviewWe were very satisfied with the accommodation. There was everything we needed, bed linen, towels, a fully equipped kitchen. the owner was pleasant, explained everything we needed and was available on the phone the whole time we were here.
It would be better if there is bigger trash can in the kitchen, but it is just recommendation.
