Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomI loved everything!
Breakfast was excellent with lots of options for both Cypriot and English/European palattes. Fresh omelette was a wonderful touch. Seasonal fruit selection was delicious. The hotel has a wonderful energy and has many places to sit and enjoy it. The pool is an ozone pool and for those of us who have skin sensitivities or allergies to chlorine it was an excellent innovative idea by hotel management! Staff were very helpful. Menus at all three restaurants provided a variety of options. Virgin Mojito's were my favorite, so refreshing by the pool. Clearly a top quality hotel!

CyprusFor some reason, apps on the smart TV are blocked, and you can only watch TV channels. The suggested cast function doesn’t work. Perhaps it’s not the same in every room, but in ours, the bed was only 160 cm wide, which is surprising for a hotel of this level. The pillows are synthetic and uncomfortable, and there are no extra ones available at the hotel. The food is very average — I would recommend considering replacing the chef. The parking is almost unusable because some brilliant engineers made the parking spots narrower than a car. The gym lacks mirrors — they could be placed between the windows — and there are no surfaces for placing a phone, water, or towel. 11 EUR for a room service seems overpriced.
The design is excellent, with expensive, stylish interior elements, wooden floors, and other materials that perfectly convey the premium concept. The pool and surrounding lounge area are great, but, as usual, people spoil it by reserving several loungers with towels early in the morning and then leaving. If I were the management, I’d free up a lounger if it hasn’t been used for more than 20 minutes. The spa area is perfect. The gym is spacious with panoramic views. Overall it’s great.

CyprusThe hotel has potential to be exceptional, but the service was patchy. Staff were often unavailable when we needed to order at the veranda or pool. There was a noticeable body odor among some servers, which affected the experience around the Forest, Ilios, pool, and interior areas. Wine by the glass was limited and not to my liking, with only two very young options available. I enjoyed a Syrrah by the glass at Petite Palait. Breakfast was acceptable but lacked fresh fruit (bananas, peaches, plums, etc.). Strawberries were spoiled, and other fruit was not fresh. Dried plums, a common morning staple for some guests, were not available. Plant-based milks contained added sugar; I prefer unsweetened varieties, ideally Isola brand. I am dairy-free, so options for vegan/plant-based dishes are important. Ilios felt overpriced for what it offers, and the formal dining atmosphere seemed unnecessary. The extensive cutlery and the staff’s odor were off-putting, suggesting a need for better training. Menu variety at Ilios and Forest could be improved, particularly regarding fish, chicken, and lamb options. Our room overlooked construction, despite my request for a forest view. Daily housekeeping was inconsistent, as the room was not cleaned unless I reminded staff each morning. The third-floor corridor had brooms, mops, and cleaning equipment visible, and there was a persistent foul odor from the waste bins, making passage unpleasant.
we stayed in room 301 and we provided feedback to the hotel management. Here is some additional feedback. We liked the location and facilities—the gym and spa were beautiful and clean, and the Forest dining was good. Pavel and Charlotte did a great job asking for feedback. The Ilios veranda is excellent, and the bar staff were friendly when we ordered drinks or meals. The older gentleman with the moustache stood out for his hard work. Stavroulla was nice, but she often shared personal pains and fatigue, which isn’t ideal in guest interactions. I understand she’s tired, but such comments are best kept private. The manager did an excellent job addressing the water issue early by arranging a water tank.
