This property is in an unbeatable location in Nicosia, in the heart of the old city and close to just about everything. It is a five room apartment whose bedrooms are rented out individually while the kitchen/dining/living space is kind of a common area. Everything is well maintained and the kitchen is complete in every regard. I guess that this very inviting layout will create a hostel atmosphere from time to time depending on how social the guests are. All in all good value and very pleasant too.

Front door (to the street) doesn't seem to close, and it seems like anybody in the neighbourhood probably knows the code. "Staff" certainly weren't UN-friendly, just ... absent. From start to finish, the only interaction was via messaging on the app, with responses a bit scatty, and it was hard to know what was going on at times (for example - who do the 48 eggs taking up all the space in the fridge belong to?! Are they up for grabs?!). It's a shared space, so expectations are limited anyway, but it still felt a little creaky and exposed. Bathroom fine, kitchen good (enough), but I personally found it a bit hard to relax, which isn't ideal.

Passable, but not the most welcoming place to stay. The location is fantastic, just a few hundred metres from the checkpoint and close to shops, cafes, bars etc. (with a LOVELY little corner shop and self-service laundromat right outside). Clean enough, simple. Price is okay, compared with other/nearby options.

The area is quite noisy, the windows have thin glass so you would easily wake up in the very early morning by noises from the street/workers/birds and so on

Outside noise can be a bit of a nuisance. Other guests needs to be asked not to talk too loud on their mobile phones. All Wwindows need mosquitoes netting...especially the bathroom. Bathroom and bedrooms need 2 coat hangers on inside each of the doors. Bathroom had nowhere to hang clothes whilst in shower. Rooms could do with a mirror.

No breakfast supplied but good kitchen facilities. Rooms vary in size and atmosphere. Mine was tiny but l have stayed here in a larger room previously. It's a bit pot luck! However...this is definitely my favourite place to stay in the city. Value for money, affordable, parking, great corner shop opposite, lovely cleaner ladies, excellent linen, spotless.

Other guests didnt keep the common places clean

Excellent location in the centre, walking distance to the bus station, shops, and border point. Room was small but ok, ac was a good bonus.

The icy cold temperature in the common room made the stay uncomfortable. It is not heated at all, including the shared bathroom.

The location is ideal, as it only took a 5-minute walk to the intercity bus station in Nicosia.

Room and toilet doors cannot be closed without some strength and effort. Door frames seems to be giving way. Owner accused checking out while locking the door and left with keys in room. But actually the cleaner didn't push hard enough to open the door with broken door frame. Kettle is filled with calcium and not comfortable to use.

Location is great. Near Ledra Street. Room is decently clean.

•it was cold •smoke smell (maybe would be useful if u specify clearly that people are not allowed to smoke inside cuz some clearly do and smell is unpleasent) •would benefit from a microwave and toaster •room 5 didn't have a proper wardrobe If these will be sorted will give 10 next time ,promise !

Not the fault of the accommodation, but someone left the shared bathroom in a pretty disgusting condition. The bathroom is a bit cold in the winter. No garbage can in the room.

The girl who cleaned our rooms was very nice and she let us store our luggage in the room before check in time. Really central location, close to the old town and the bus station.

The hostel is good, the size of the room is ok, the bed is comfortable and the shared bathroom is clean. The check-in is easy. The hostel is around 5 minutes away (walking) from the central bus station and it´s a walk of less than 5 minutes to the Turkish/Greek boarder. Super markets and good restaurants are also nearby. It was a good stay and I would absolutely recommend it!

the bed was a bit too soft, almost about to break and i weight not much so it was not due to me, also, the communication was a bit impersonal, the room could be a little bit bigger, but there is nothing really problematic that i would explicitly dislike,
