Reviews of TRIANON Hostel - Central Paphos Old Town

The hostel is right inside the center of the old town, top location. Staff was friendly, room clean and comfy beds.

The toilets need to be cleaned more often. The price is too high for what it offers.

Location is not bad, good supermarket is hard to find, you can find good one close to Shell petrol station. Very close to bus station, many restaurants around.

We booked a better privat room with air condition. The room itself was good enough but mobile air condition was very noisy, and couldn't make room cool enough so we keep turn on big fan on the wall all the time. Even than room wasn't cool enough, we were there in August. Kitchen was a little dirty but usable. Over all, less money less confortable.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place in its current state. It really needs a complete renovation and, most importantly, new beds. I only ended up booking it because everything else was already taken – but I would not make the same choice again. Staying in Cyprus without air conditioning felt like a real struggle, especially during the hot summer days. It became more of a survival challenge than a vacation. On top of that, there was only one toilet available, which often meant waiting in line – and the showers only had cold water, which made things even more uncomfortable. I'm really sorry to leave a negative review, but this is my honest opinion. I believe that with proper renovation and improvements, this place could truly have a different energy – especially because the location is actually very good and has great potential. I genuinely hope that some changes will be made in the future, because the area deserves a much better standard of accommodation.

The location

No aircondition And not as clean

The host was very friendly and warm, made some friends in the hostel, and the location is close to all the bars. Perfect for people traveling alone

The structure was pretty old, the shower stinks even with the bathroom door closed, there was papers and dust under the bed and the wifi signal was unavailable in our room.

Location was at city center

The facilities were so old. EVERYTHING needs replacement. Host not responsive at all.

The location is excellent, right in the heart of the old town, close to Kennedy Square, with easy access to the bus stop and Karavella station. I stayed here for a month and had a private room, sharing the shower and toilet facilities, which were always clean and comfortable. The staff (Maria) and owner made sure the shared areas, especially the shower and toilet, were well-maintained. Kula and her daughter were very kind and often shared fresh fruits with me, which I truly appreciated during the hot weather. I felt a little sad that I didn’t get the chance to say goodbye when I left, as I didn’t see them. Thank you, Kula, for the warm hospitality and the Greek lessons. I hope to see you again someday!

The internet in my room wasn’t very strong (most of the time, I didn't have internet), especially when I needed to do some work, I had to go to the common areas to get a more stable connection. It would be helpful if they could add an extra Wi-Fi extender. Also, considering the hot weather, it might be worth investing in air conditioning in the future.

Location, clean, quiet

It's a proper old-school hostel, right in the middle of the city, next to all the action. Owners and guests are friendly. Beds are comfy. Kitchen and bathrooms are clean.

It is very noisy at nights with the noise from the bars in the neighbourhood. No air conditioning. Security needs to be improved (there is nowhere secure to keep valuables)

My room was neat, and the facilities were very nice. The staff helped me out with some difficulties and were super nice throughout as well :) The price is absolutely good for its quality.

For its price, don't expect a high-end place. It does the job well for solo travellers and those on a budget.

Stayed here for the 4th time now. Fantastic location, no Taxi needed, all in walking distance. Bus station around the corner, 613 bus direct to Paphos airport. Many thanks. My age 72 years old. We will be back.
